All eggs (16) arrived safe and sound, started incubation today, we'll see how it goesUpdate: 9 hatched, happy and healthy all colors!

Eggs arrived on time, all eggs were intact and a few extra eggs were provided. Excellent hatching rate! 12 out of 14 eggs hatched! All chicks were healthy and robust ! Very pleased👍

They sent 4 extra eggs which would be great if all the eggs were fertile. 9 of the 16 were fertile and you could clearly tell when candling them that not all were fertile but we left them in just in case but sure enough only 9 hatched.

I hatched 13 out of 16. 2 of the eggs that didn't hatch had fully developed and died right toward the end. One egg didn't develop at all. Fantastic hatch rate. Beautiful babies and great seller.

I waited until hatch day to leave a review, in the interest of being as fair and complete as possible. We already raise quail of our own, and were just trying to freshen our bloodlines, so we went into this knowing what to do and what to expect.For starters, the packaging was extremely well done! Sixteen tiny eggs, nestled separately into divots in a soft foam block. That's right... SIXTEEN. Four extra eggs, just in case! We allowed them to rest as necessary before incubating, and started the countdown.Today was supposed to be hatch day, but by this morning we already had 15 adorable little peepers zooming around in the incubator. They look lively, healthy, and everything you could hope for. There is one unhatched egg remaining, and if it does hatch I'll update - but a return of 15 peeps from 16 eggs (especially when I paid for and expected twelve) is the absolute definition of "above and beyond"!I want to offer my sincere thanks! And if I asked, I would immediately and happily recommend this seller to anyone! As stated above, I am VERY happy with my purchase and this seller!

The media could not be loaded. Amazing! I ordered 1 dozen eggs and they surprised me with 16 and they were packaged very well, I had no cracks. Here we are 19 days later and I’ve successfully hatched 14 of the 16 eggs with one not fully forming and needing to be euthanized but not to the sellers fault. Strong chicks that don’t seem to have genetic issues and the color variation is fantastic. I’m very pleased with this yield and I would recommend this breeder in the future.

Farming and homesteading is as much about being self-sufficient as it is about being a part of and building a community. I ordered a dozen hatching eggs and received a few extra which was a nice surprise. I first contacted the seller because USPS shipping had made a mistake with the tracking, and not only was the seller quick to respond, they were apologetic for a mistake that wasn’t even their own. However, all eggs arrived in tact, much faster than I anticipated, and while I ordered in the middle of winter, I still had a hatch rate around 70%. More eggs than promised, rapid response, high hatch rate against the elements and shipping. I’m so impressed, I’m now following this farm on social media. Like I said, homesteading is about building a community and I’m excited to connect with a great farm like Round Lake Farm and can’t wait to watch their journey.
