Paramol s are used for the short term of acute moderate pain which is not relieved by paracetamol, ibuprofen and aspirin alone such as headache, migraine, toothache and other dental pain, backache, muscular and joint aches and pains and neuralgia. Warnings or Restrictions Do not use if: •You are suffering from breathing difficulties •You are taking antidepressants from a group called Monoamine Oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or have taken them in the last 14 days. •You are dependant on alcohol •You suffer from raised pressure within your head or from convulsion and acute abdominal conditions. •You are suffering from diarrhoea caused by poisoning or have watery and severe diarrhoea •You are taking any other paracetamol and/or codeine containing products •Do not drive while taking this medicine until you know how it affects you. •This medicine contains dihydrocodeine which can cause addiction if you take it continuously for more than 3 days. This can give you withdrawal symptoms from the medicine when you stop taking it. •If you take a pain killer for headaches for more than three days it can make them worse. •Please consult your cist or doctor before using this medicine if you are currently pregnant, likely to get pregnant or feeding. •Please consult your cist or doctor if you are currently taking any other medicines as this may cause an interaction. •If you think you may be ic to any of the ingredients contained in this medicine, please seek medical advice before taking. •If you have any questions after you have bought this medication, please speak to your cist.
