Q: Does this support connecting to multiple devices like the Bose QC35?

Let's be totally clear on this - IT DOES NOT REALLY WORK with the WH-1000XM3 on iOS. I have paired with an iPhone and an iPad and they can't switch between them unless you physically disconnect on the other device. For example as I type this they are connected to the iPad. The Sony app on my phone tells me that they are connected yet Spotify plays through the phone speakers not the headphones, as it's really still connected to the iPad. There is nothing I can do on the phone or headphones to change this. I need to go to the iPad and then disconnect the headphones. This may sound a trivial thing but trust me, after doing it only a couple of times - it becomes hugely frustrating. I can buy a really cheap pair of wireless headphones by a "Mickey Mouse" manufacturer that can do this just fine. QC35 does this fine, Beats also, and they are all cheaper. Please DO NOT BUY if you think you'll need to use more than one iOS device. And the worst thing is - it's all software so Sony could make this work but they haven't. This is unacceptable at the huge price of these headphone. Sony you should be ashamed of yourself!!!

GarethJD is clearly one of those lucky people who can sleep comfortably on either side at any time. I (and, I imagine, the question ask-er) are not so lucky. At any given time one side is a recipe for blissful sleep and the other for no sleep at all, this appears to be selected randomly. In any case, I can reassure anyone wondering that these headphones would be fine; you are able to disable the touchpad in the app.

Q: is anyone using these or previous models for pc gaming?

I have used the previous model for some PC gaming. There was no noticeable latency introduced while on Bluetooth, and you have the wired option available if it was a concern for you. They completely blocked out fan noise from a gaming laptop, and from my girlfriend's loud TV. I did not get a chance to test if microphone worked for chat however.
