Q: Can glass rocks be used?

We are using glass rocks with no apparent problem.

Q: Does the legacy heating cdf-wmgb28-wk fire table come with lava rock or does the rock (or glass) need to be purchased separately?

Comes with the Lava rock, although I added a few more. I’ve shopped for months and in my opinion, all the other comparable tables are overpriced. We’ve had our table for about 3 weeks and have really enjoyed having it and how it performs. Hope that helps.

Q: How high does the flame go

You can lower it or make it high. Think of it as a gas stove.

Q: How does the top table part hold up to stuff being set on it? Will it scratch over time?

It functions well. Warms area well. I have not used it enough to answer your durability question. It does appear to be well designed. Screws for assembly are metric, do not lose
