I thought the book bigger, with more pages, but it doesn't matter for me.

If you saw my earlier review - I WAS WRONGI bought this and another book. The other book covered about 45 topics included a lot of analytic function stuff. Well, after taking the test I know - the book basically covered the areas and the hard-core analytic stuff was not there.Some books have a CD of questions and a lot of other stuff. This does not. It goes through the topics on the Oracle website re subject areas and specifics.So this should be *ONE OF* the references you need to prepare - not the only one

The book is good.

This book states at the beginning that it's not a standalone resource - you'll need to read the official Oracle Tutorial at least, but that it supplements all other learning. I'm finding it hard to see how it supplements my prior learning in any meaningful way.The layout is very basic. There is no colour to aid revision and no touch-points to zone in on. Just a lot on black writing. In addition to this basic design there are a large number of spelling mistakes, which really irritates me. Little has been done to edit this book - it feels like it was thrown together and published at pace, and never picked up again.The only saving grace is that the website mentioned is pretty helpful.EDIT: Just scraped through my exam and can confirm this book didn't help me at all. There was a large number of topics covered in the exam that aren't focused on in this book. My recommendation would be to buy the Oracle textbook and learn it extensively. Review down from 2 stars to 1.

Awesome Experience....

Diese Buch enthält alles was man für diese Prüfung braucht. Damit erreicht amn aber nur 90 % der Fragen, okay man braucht eh nur 60% zum bestehen. Einige Fragen gehen nur über das Wissen aus dem Umgang mit Oracle. Für mich hat sich eine Oracle XE bewährt, in der man verschieden Fragen ausprobieren kann.EIn Fragenkatalog wie er von verschiedenen Institutionen angeboten wird ist eine ideale Ergänzung.

This book is a must have for exam prep. It's concise and precise. I used it in conjunction with the official Oracle book for the same exam.

This book, instead of covering Oracle certification is a light introduction to SQL. Do not waste your time and money with this book.
