It's very nice light, but a bit expensive - I think, unless they're just not able to manufacture for less, especially now that most bulbs sold are LED.

While LED bulbs claim to be dimmable, they typically require a commercial dimmer with a neutral wire attached. Most home dimmers are NOT of this variety, being powered with a small current through the bulbs. Thus, in my kitchen, with LED downlights ("dimmable" LEDs), and two pendants., I use the halogen bulbs in the pendents. With the two incandescent bulbs, the dimmer works perfectly. Without them, the "dimmable" LED bulbs blink. Again, this is typical.Bottom line, these halogen bulbs are typical halogen quality, last a long time (for incandescents), and perform a necessary function for me.

I bought these to replace LED lights which are way more toxic and detrimentalto health than most believe. The light from LED bulbs contains a lot of blue light which is detrimental to one's vision.. The blue light screws with melatonin production. The decreased melatonin to can affect.sleep, contribute to cancer, and do some other wicked stuff to the body. Anyway, I installed these in fixtures throughout my house. They are bright, and have a more natural yellow color. I also feel less eye strain especially when reading. I cannot comment and lifespan yet, but I will update my review if I run into any problems.I just wanted to add one thing. I know oils from skin can affect halogen bulbs in car headlights. I am not sure if that is the case in these larger bulbs or not. As a precaution, I wore a pair of gloves to prevent me from getting oil on the bulbs when I installed them.Edit: I have used these bulbs for about a werk. I wanted to post one observation I noticed. These bulbs do not hurt my eyes as bad when I wake up and turn them on first thing in the morning like the LED bulbs they replaced. Both sets of bulbs were the same lumen output.

Looks nice and stylish in my bathroom for my vanity lighting . Works as described and has lasted for a long time.

If you are seeking a 60 watt incandescent bulb that delivers efficiency, brightness, and longevity... look no further!I have a pair of light fixtures on each side of my garage door that feature motion detection as well as a dusk till dawn option. If you engage both options simultaneously, the fixture becomes active when the sun goes down. The light will operate at 30% brightness (as an accent light) then it will go to full brightness of motion is detected. As nice as this is, the fixtures circuitry really want to see a resistive load in order to operate properly. Most LED bulbs will flicker, shimmer, or strobe when used in conjunction with these fixtures and unfortunately... incandescents are getting harder and harder to find.After plenty of trial and error, I gave these bulbs a try and they are PERFECT! For starters... they are clear glass bulbs which seem to disappear behind the seeded glass of my fixtures. When they operate in dim mode, the halogen lamp is a little brighter than a plain tungsten filament lamp which gives them a great (and usable) look as an accent light. When operated at full power, they give off a nice bright white light that is still pretty warm in color temperature (2900k) which lights up my driveway nicely. As a bonus... the manufacturer specifies that they use 43 watts of power to produce the same lumens (750) as a standard 60 watt bulb. Did I mention.... THE PRICE IS FANTASTIC!

Actually works as a replacement for lamps where off the shelf leds won't work in certain fixtures

Bulbs are what I wanted. ONE of the bulbs was really broken, but I decided not to make it an issue.

could not find these at any store near me so i ordered them , they arrived very well packaged and all were in good shape , will buy again
