This laptop ranks as one of the worst I have ever owned, coming in a close second to one that was quite worn out. What's particularly frustrating is that this one is brand new, yet it performs abysmally from the outset. It takes an excruciatingly long time to load any application or file. When I try to launch a web browser, I find myself staring at the loading icon for what feels like an eternity. If I attempt to adjust the settings, it's advisable to set aside a good 30 to 40 seconds—if not more—before I can expect any response.Typically, such frustrating delays would be expected from a heavily loaded device, but this laptop was sluggish right from the start. Even writing this review has proven to be a test of patience, as the keyboard struggles to keep pace with my typing. I often have to pause and wait for the letters to appear on the screen, further aggravating the overall experience. It's a disheartening reminder of how frustrating technology can be when it fails to deliver, even when it's brand new. Absolute dogwater of a laptop, but hopefully, if you ignore this review, you have a better time with it.

Great laptop. It’s light weight and easy to carry around. Great for work on the go and traveling. Would recommend.

This laptop looks beautiful (rose gold) and essentially works. I got it to go back to school. It was easy to use and honestly the value for the cost is great. It isn’t touch screen which was not a make or break for me but after 24 hours it started to over heat, started to lag a lot and overall just didn’t seem to feel like it could hold up for 5 hours of classes each day. I returned due to this and hoping to get my refund soon. Honestly if you are just using it for school work or maybe just a few hours of use, it should be fine. Or for younger kids school. Definitely not able to handle college apps though.

This laptop is not what it seems! Since I could not get any help from the seller through Amazon, I contacted HP. When they examined the laptop, they said that the hard drive had been modified with after market parts to try and give it more memory. Amazon denied any knowledge of this so one assumes it was done by the seller.This resulted in a slow running laptop that frequently crashed and went offline. The return process was very difficult, necessitating numerous phone calls to Amazon. Finally about 2 weeks after I took the laptop to UPS I received a refund. But again, that was only after numerous phone calls.The odd thing is that I bought the same exact model with half the memory about 2 years ago and have not had any problems with it.

Excellent, especially for the price! Easy setup, works great. Nice little laptop

Glitches a lot.

If you're not right on top of the keyboard you can't see it. The letters are gray on a brushed silver key. From an angle it is impossible to see the keys. My older HP had black keys with white letters ... very simple to see. I bought this computer because it was inexpensive, but I can tell it is not made with the same quality as my old one. I guess you get what you pay for, this is a cheaply made laptop/ Spend a little more and get a good one.
