I purchased a used telescope with no eyepieces, so I found these and they do the job quite nicely. I would highly recommend purchasing a filter set as well since the moon is very bright and extended viewing can cause fatigue.

These eyepieces offer a sharp & crisp viewing experience and are excellent choice for upgrading the standard eyepieces that came with the telescope, without breaking your bank. The set comes complete with high, mid, and low focal lenght eyepieces. Each of them offer good eye relief. I have used them stand alone and with barlow lenses, and I have been pleasantly surprised everytime. I highly recommend them.

I got these because I was making a DIY telescope and I wanted to see just what kind of quality one could expect for the price. The answer? Not a ton, but they're usable. These aren't Tele-vue or anything, but even so, these fall short in a lot of ways. My biggest complaint is with the fact that on more than one eyepiece I could see something in the view that looked like rubber or adhesive on the edge of the view.Add to that, the field of view and the eye relief on the high-magnification eyepiece is just pathetic. It feels like you're trying to stick your eye into a drinking straw. Not a pleasant experience.I think I'd rather have one decent eyepiece than these three lackluster ones. With that being said, they ARE very cheap, and they do function. Just not especially well.

Superb optics with coated lenses, well built, excellent eyecups. You won't get a clearer image. Look for the Pleiades with 20mm. Boom.

At under $50 for a "set" I didn't expect much in the way of quality. These eyepieces exceeded my expectations and then some. In my 130mm scope the 4mm eyepiece is nearly unusable but that's a limitation imposed by the size of the scope I think. In my 8" dobsonian everything looks great. My opinion is that if your budget for eyepieces is $50 look no farther. I've seen eyepieces double the price that didn't give much, if any, better views.
