Es realmente madera solida es muy pesado pero estoy encantada con el resultado.Aunque no trae tornillos para montarlo en la pared eso no fue un problema estoy encantada con el resultado aunque el color no fue mucho de mi agrado,pero eso no es problema lo pintare de blanco para que convine con mi demás decoración.

I have had a gas fireplace for over 10 years with just the slate around the exterior. I kept saying over and over that I wanted a mantel to decorate or hang stockings on for the holiday season, yet never got around to getting one. Every year the prices were either too high or I worried about quality and the difficulty of hanging. I finally made this purchase and I cannot tell you how happy I am that I did. The price was far cheaper than any of its competitors AND the quality has blown me away!The mantel arrived in perfect condition and wrapped well for protection during transit. The box contained everything you need with the exception of screws and/ or fasteners as per the surface requirements (completely understandable). I hung it above the slate surround on sheet rock and secured the included wood hanger bar with three 8x2” screws into the studs. This worked perfect and was incredibly easy. As long as you take a few minutes to plan exactly where you want to place your mantel and use a level on the hanger bar this is an extremely easy product to install. You have the option to hang the shelf with or without the corbels (both options looked great). I hope this review helps you if you are on the fence about purchasing it. There are no regrets here and can’t wait to decorate it this holiday season!!

We had a hard time hanging this on my wall. The mfg went above and beyond to help me resolve the issue. It was the last part of my remodel project. Its finally hung and looks amazing.

Beautiful and simple to install. We love it

As the title says, it arrived in perfect condition. Product was shipped in a box about 7.5 feet long and packed well with plenty of styrofoam for protection. Installation on an uneven fake stone fireplace was interesting, but i knew that going in and used thin several pieces of wood as shims under lower sections of the rock to even out the mounting surface to hang the mantel cleat. Also predrilled with regular drill bit through the cleat and then masonary bit through the fake rock and mortar into the underlying brick. Four 3.5 inch Tapcon concrete screws to attach the cleat worked well and it is very strong. I will likely run another couple screws through the top of the mantel into the cleat to secure it against someone bumping it upward and off the cleat on accident.As some others have mentioned, the pearl inlay on the side is a biit silly and detracts (slightly) from the appearance. I may pick it out, and fill/stain the area down the road but my wife does not care as much... All in all I am very happy with the purchase and my wife is happy to have a nice looking mantel to put her decorations.

Item was so nice , only I sanded down to stain , did not like the cherry tint to it , I restained to a expresso color , but over all its super sturdy

This is a well made and very nice mantel. We had replaced our fireplace insert with a new one and I decided to get a newer nicer mantel and this was perfect. The wife gives it a 10 out of 10. The Installation was easy and straight forward. I do wish that it came with the bolts to mount, but it was simple enough to run to hardware store and get a few. I my only negative was not with what I received , but that there is a such a price disparity between the colors. But again I am extremely happy with what I got and give it 10 out of 10 myself.

I rarely write reviews, but absolutely had to for this purchase. We just bought a house with a huge family room. It has a fabulous brick wall with a wood burning fireplace. The wall has four built-in brick corbels I wanted to remove. Two of the corbels are perfectly situated above the fireplace, but it needed a mantel piece. With great trepidation I purchased this piece. It is ABSOLUTLEY BEAUTIFUL! It fit perfectly on the brick corbels and the look is simply STUNNING! Superior quality and workmanship. The color is almost an identical match to the hardwood floors. It couldn't be more beautiful if it'd been custom made. Great product. Easy to assemble. Instructions were clear and concise. The stain went on easily. You have to buy mounting hardware separately, but was easily accomplished using some items I got at Home Depot. The mantel looks great and is very solid.

Just in time for the holidays. Matches my floors perfectly. Super easy to install. All the pre-drilled holes lined up exactly. Light enough for one person to lift but strong enough to last. I like that the corbels can be removed if I change my mind. Too bad that the ‘distressed’ marks are machined identically but not a game changer. Excellent value for the price
