Our 3 year old was gifted these for his birthday and uses them daily. Very easy to operate and fun for all. We then bought a set for his grandfather who is a boy at heart and everyone gets joy from them. Very fast, durable. Definitely worth the money if your looking for a kids toy!

Only played with them for about an hour but they were a hit with the kids and adults alike! Usable on carpet depending on the carpet.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my 7 year old daughter. Worked great the first time we used them, then we went to use them later the same day and the one car wouldn’t turn back on even after multiple battery changes and messing around with the back to try to get a more secure fit.

So fun! I bought these for Christmas morning for my adult sons to play with. Very entertaining! The whole family laughed and laughed!

There are a few variations of this product out there, including one or two from Sharper Image. Most of the ones I've seen have a very obvious physical reaction when the bumper is "hit" in that the driver tends to pop out of the car.It's very gratifying the first few times you do it, but honestly, after a while of picking it up and resetting it, you'll be glad you chose this one instead.This one doesn't have the gratifying pop of the others, but it's more fun over the long term because you get visual cues via the lights and sounds that you've registered a hit, but you don't have to manually / physically reset anything. You can just keep playing.It's probably not something that's going to be the biggest hit ever, but it is actually pretty fun. I'd say it's a good "Grandma and Grandpa's House" toy. It's something that's fun for small bursts on certain occasions. If you break it out at certain times, it's a blast.Construction is good and controls work well. Sharper Image is a reliable electronics brand and they make some great gadgets, so I'm a big fan overall.

My grandkids have had a great time with these cars. The only downside is the screw to the battery cover is extremely tiny and on one of the cars was stripped out making it challenging to get the batteries in. Turns out there was an extra screw in the box.

My husband and I are obsessed with these. They remind me of Mario kart. We have so much fun and laugh and laugh playing with these.

these are actually a ton of fun, but the amount of batteries it takes is insane. i'd rather pay more for them to make them rechargeable instead of using regular batteries. build quality is great though. we had fun little tournaments with these and our family had a blast. we have all hard floors with no carpet and they work great on those. i'm not sure how they would work on carpet. the controls are fairly straight forward. they're pretty fast.
