I had reservations about this product as I was sending them as a gift. Given the price on Amazon being so low compared to store prices (4 times higher) I thought the quality would be low. My cousin called me after receiving them (arrived 1 day earlier than expected) and told me that they are very nice and very useful. They stack inside each other to save space as well. I’m very happy with these items and Amazon delivery was perfect as always.

I have another older set which is very similar to these. They lasted just about five years -- and I still have some of them. They last longer if you don't put them in the dishwasher, by the way. Yes, they can be tricky to close but on the other hand, once you get them closed, they don't leak, even turned upside down. I bought the smallest set because I have not got enough room for a bigger collection, but it turns out the small set isn't all that small. It's eight containers, each with its own lid and each set of four nests perfectly. I have both sets in one drawer atop one another.If you're using throwaways, these are a huge improvement in every possible way. I'm not convinced these are more expensive than throwaways, especially because you get to keep these a lot longer. Unless you are the kind of person who is more concerned with the appearance of items than functionality. Oh, and they are also very lightweight and clear, so you can see what's in them.

Honestly, I think I could have gotten more quality product from the dollar store. The lids clasp closed but not securely. Also, the rubber seal is a big band, so liquid can get trapped under it. You have to remove the band to get them totally clean. Per the reviews, I really didn’t think it would be so bad. I should’ve expected it due to the price. I am using them, but will not purchase again or recommend anyone else purchasing them.***Update***I have been pleasantly surprised by these containers. I have used them for soup for lunch and thought they would leak but didn’t. I have to give credit, where credit is due. I would recommend them.

I absolutely love this set!! I love the stackable, locking containers. I was looking for a good, affordable set and I found it with this one!! It has so many pieces and for such a great price. There are multiple shapes and sizes for whatever it is you need to store. Hot, cold, freezing... It works for everything. We put a hot meal almost right off the stove into one and it didn't cause the shape to change or anything. They take up every little room because they store inside of each other and then stack on top of each other. I put home made hot sauce in one and accidentally dropped it and it didn't open and didn't spill. I love the clear color so I can see what it's them without having to open them. They are super easy to clean! I can't believe they are so nice for the price. Definitely will be ordering the bigger set! Perfect for the holidays!

Useful variety.

They are decent. Good for lunches and in the refrigerator. I have not tried them in the freezer and since a tab or two has broken on one or two I'm not really sure i want to try in the freezer.I like that the stack and it is easy to keep the lids with the bottoms. I really wanted my containers easy to find and the cupboard neat.But I'm not happy the tabs broke easily.Next time I will try a different brand.

My mother-in-law is 98 1/2 and stills lives by herself in her house, with a few kids in the area to keep an eye on her. My husband and I travel cross country every 6 months now, because you never know.I love her dearly but I finally lost it on the issue of food storage. I made too much chicken noodle soup, so I put it in a plastic container to take to the freezer. "Oh, that's too heavy." I looked for some smaller containers.I swear that this woman has kept every plastic container she has ever gotten in her life. They are in cardboard boxes and take up 3 or 4 cabinets in her tiny little kitchen and laundry. The tops are stored separately from the bottoms. They are all at floor level, so you have to get down with a flashlight and play the "match game." When I finally get a match she says,"Don't use those square ones. I can't get the tops off. Don't use those, I can't get the tops on. Those are too big. Those are too small. Those pop up in the freezer." It drives her kids nuts too, so what do they do? They go to the Dollar Store and buy cheap sets that quickly add to the hundred or so containers that she has.I pounded on Amazon and found these. They certainly look like they will work. I have arthritis in my hands and these are easy for me to use. They nest for storage, so they take up less room. I quietly threw out about a dozen butter and cottage cheese containers.I asked her daughter if she would use these. "Maybe" was the answer. I asked if she would throw out a bunch of the odd ones she had. "No", we both said at the same time.All I can say is that I tried, and I will send for a set of these for me, when I get home.
