I've been having some issues with certain plants and I finally decided to get technical and I ordered this soil testing meter mostly for the pH reading function. I like that it has so many other readings, however, like temp, humidity, moisture, etc. My only doubts were about its accuracy, so I performed a test using soil test strips that I already had to compare it with. My test involved inserting the meter into the soil and taking a reading, then using the soil that touched the probe to conducting a soil test strip test with that same soil. The meter read 6.5 and my soil test strip read a 6. Considering the test strip doesn't do "half" increments, I determined the meter to be accurate. I can comfortably recommend this meter. If anything changes, I will update this review.

I ordered this more for the pH reader than anything. I do think it's helpful for that. I'll stick to my normal moisture meter to read that, though - this one takes about 10 seconds to get a reading when pushing the "measure" button, which may not seem like much, but when you have 120+ plants, it would be very time consuming for water day.

The media could not be loaded.  This 6-in-1 meter is actually saving my Monstera. My plant has been droopy and no new growth for awhile. I’m still a newbie with plants. I am not confident on examining soil moisture with finger test. Sometimes I would overwater/underwater. This definitely helps with providing information accurately so I can see what area went wrong. From the meter reading I now can say, I need to improve on sunlight, soil fertility and humidity! This provides crucial info for healthy plant growth and points me to the right direction to make my Monsteras happy again. Simple to use meter. Press “on” button, press “measure” button and wait a few seconds for reading. I like that the battery life is displayed and that the screen lights up brightly.

I really like this meter but sadly one of the probes came off the very first time I used it. Our ground is not the softest but I did not think it would be hard enough to break off the tip of the probe. It would be nice if they offered replacements in cases like this.It does appear as if the measurements used for the meter are accurate according to the tests I previously had run on it.
