I had to cut the exhaust pipe to fit with a hack saw. Then the exhaust pipe fit on the muffler but not the exhaust adapter on the generator. I had to cut the end a 1/2 inch to get it on. Once on both ends, just tighten the clamps tight.

Seems like a well enough built kit with everything I needed to install for my installation.

I can say I was not impressed with the presentation of these parts. Opening the generic looking box, I was met with several large, folded layers of bubble wrap. These held everything in place very well. From there, it went a little down hill. I could not find an instruction manual. I mean, I know the concept, but there should still be something in the box that offer guidance or a way to contact them in case of an issue. There wasn't even a business card. Also, the ends of flexible metal pipe were unfinished as indicated by the sharp burrs that missed the sander. Overall, they look like a bunch of parts in a box. And there is definitely no other way that it can be used for any other activities that require making things that involve loud noise into less loud noise.

I bought this set for a Westinghouse 7500/9500 watt generator. The flexible pipe diameter is way too big for the exhaust pipe of this generator but could manage to fit it on. Measured noise reduction at 15 ft distance is 5 decibels from 75. Hardly noticeable. I realized the main noise is not coming out of the exhaust but from the machine itself.

Looks small on website. Muffle looks like it fits a motorcycle.
