This model has been made for years because it is a great machine.It is replacing a thirteen year old Emerson, of the same model. This tells you that it is a very successful model. My old one was built in March of 2010. This one was built in November of 2023. The old one still works, but the interior has taken a beating because we used it so much. When I saw this I was already thinking of replacing the old one, and using it's internal parts for a few projects I have in mind, so I didn't take long in making up my mind to order it.If you buy this machine please read the full instructions, and operate it accordingly. It will give you years of satisfactory service.

This is the second time I've purchased this Emerson microwave. I had one about 10 years ago and gave it to a friend when we moved because we didn't need it in the new house, and I have missed it. I just purchased this one for my mother. She is 84 - just wants a basic, easy to use microwave with an easy to use touch panel. This is perfect. It does a good job, looks nice in the kitchen and it has a wire wrack for roasting if you want; it has a light inside so you can see your food while it cooks, which is a favorite feature of ours. It was very affordable in comparison to others. It's very roomy inside and you just pull the handle to open it. No button to push. It has quick cook numbers, so for example if you only push the 1 it will cook for 1 minute, etc. The only reason I didn't give this microwave 5 stars is because it's missing a feature I'd like to have, which is a button to silence so it doesn't wake the dead when it's finished cooking. I don't know why microwave makers think the "Hey, your food is ready" beep needs to be so loud and so many times. They all do it. That is the only missing feature that makes this microwave less than perfect in my opinion.

small and compact. easy to use. display easily seen. sturdy and not cheaply made. have not tried all features yet, so cannot comment on grilling or Alexa integration. Just use for microwaving

Microwave door doesn't close, Styrofoam packaging broken, cabinet misaligned,looks like it was returned before! Very disappointing!

This came right on time and in perfect condition! It's replacing an Emerson microwave that finally gave up the ghost after 23 years! I hope this one lasts just as long if not longer! And the browning grill is a bonus addition too. I can't wait to try that too!

Makes a bit of a humming sound for about the first 5 to 10 seconds after starting the cock cycle

Love it. This is only the second one we have owned because they last forever! Our last one we had for over 10 years. Worth every penny. Looks good, heats fast and is well made.
