I love the flexible hose on this. The pressure gauge helps us keep up with the usage on our tank, and keeps us from running low (or running out!). Easy to connect to the main tank to. Its a win all around

I am using this hose/regulator in two different scenarios. One is on my gas grill the other on my deep fryer. Installation - I had no problem attaching to either the grill or the fryer. Everything was very straight forward and industry standard fittings. Usage - I prefer to use an adjustable regulator on my grill so that I can get a hotter flame under the griddle to sear the steaks quickly without heating up the interior. Then to turn down the pressure to finish out the cook. I also find it gives me a wider range for cooking other foods. On the fryer is is nice to be able to have the extra heat on demand to maintain a constant oil temperature. Design- Overall I like the system. The reason I only gave it four stars was the gauge. Why have a 60 psi gauge on a 30 psi regulator. When I am using it on my grill I am generally only in the 1 to 4 psi (rarely at 4) range so the gauge is rather useless in that range. The adjustment on the regulator is good, and the ss wrapped hose is a nice feature. (I have had hoses chewed on by varmints). I would recommend this hose/regulator.

I hate to give this such a mediocre review, but I got it to run my propane-powered generator, and I can't get it to work. This hose seems well-built, robust, and durable, so I got it to replace the original adapter. However, while the generator ran fine with the original, it sputters, struggles, and finally dies with this. I might be doing something wrong, but it won't fit anything else I have without an adapter, so there I am. Still, it may work just fine for other applications.

It allowed us to fully embrace the warmth and joy of the evening, knowing we were doing it safely. The crackling fire, the laughter echoing in the night, and the warm glow of togetherness – all enhanced by the peace of mind brought by a simple upgrade.

Really nice quality on this. It just feels more protected and sturdy compared to the normal rubber only ones. A nice option for those portable propane heaters. This allows you to connect to a full size grill propane tank and not have to rely on those more expensive smaller propane takes. Good item.

This propane regulator was an exact replacement for my 20 something year old bbq. The stainless steel hose is a nice upgrade from the previous rubber coated hose. All the fittings fit just as they should with no leaks. I love that I now have the ability to widen my burners abilities with the adjustable regulator that I couldn't do before. You just need to be very careful as there is a wide range of adjustment with very little movement of the knob. The included pressure gauge is a nice feature to help you with the proper settings. Overall this is a very nice all inclusive well made propane regulator and hose kit!
