I really like this mat because it rolls up nicely and is very easy to clean. I use it when I make candles so I don’t get wax drippings on my butcher block countertop. I have also used it when making bread and bagels and it works great.

Nice thickness. Great size. Easy to clean. Fits great on my counter or my table. Can't wait to use this for my cooking baking/decorating day with my grandkids. The cleanup should be so much easier.

This has revolutionized the way I cook, believe it or not. I was used to using small 12x16 and smaller silicon sheets that weren't big enough to even roll my dough out on, let alone cut or process it. This sheet is huge! I love the white sheer color. I can leave it on the counter without it cluttering the place up. I am really careful not to cut on it, but it does take light pressure with my dough scraper.This mat came rolled-yeah- no creases. Once in a while, I have placed hot items from the oven as it does say you can use it up to 482 degrees. I just have not wanted to chance it and maybe yellow the color. I am sure it will take the heat. Maybe another reviewer can speak to that portion.It is two-sided. We used the slick side to hold dipped pretzels at Christmas time. No more parchment paper is needed for many projects with this mat.This would be a really appreciated gift for the home baker. It is so large that it could be used in many places - even just a table mat to protect wood. I have mine on my wood island and it looks pretty classy just setting out.

I live in an older apartment, and I have old tiled countertops. Over the years, the grout has worn away, leaving crevices that look bad and possibly harbor bacteria. I did not like it. I almost tried some of that countertop contact paper. But I knew it would wear out quickly and melt if a hot pan touched it. I wondered if these Silicone Mats would work, so I tried them and LOVE them! The mats covered the ugly, dirty crevices in the tiles, and they instantly looked softened. Now I know the surface is clean. I am weary that if I spill something on it, it may stain. But I've had them up for about a month, and they still look great. It was a great solution to an ugly problem.The silicon mats were easy to cut to fit my countertop perfectly. They're easy to clean. Sometimes water will get underneath, from the sink. But it's easily cleaned up. I am thrilled I took a chance on these. Because they worked out better than I thought they would.

I have an island in the middle of my kitchen that opens up. No matter how hard I've tried, crumbs find their way into the cracks constantly. Because the island is right by the stove, it gets used quite a bit for prepping and chopping. I wanted something that was able to cover the cracks on the island and that didn't weigh a ton/be a pain to clean. This is a great solution, and it's made of smooth lightweight silicone. It's ultra thin but sturdy, and this does hang just a bit over my island, I'm sure it could easily be cut to size. It rolls up so easily and stores away in a drawer for easy access. This would probably be more of an attractive mat that could go unnoticed on lighter/white cabinets. What I was pleasantly surprised to find is that this mat had no odor whatsoever. I just rolled it out right out of the container and wiped it down with a Lysol wipe. Spills and crumbs wiped up easily, and even sticky barbeque sauce that sat for a couple hours came right off this mat.
