Good Deal and exact replacement
Best part about this is the value. I really only needed the cartridge, which for a Delta OEM is $62. Was able to get the cartridge and replace the tarnished housing and handle for $7 more. Yes you can get an aftermarket cartridge for $20, but trust me, they don’t last. I have 3 of these faucets in my house and I’ve been lucky to get 3 months out of the aftermarket cartridges.

Came Scratched
I paid the new price on this purchase but it had obviously been somebodies return. All inside packaging had been torn open with screws rolling around in the box. The handle is scratched. We also got someone’s pencil that was left in the box. The box was in perfect condition. There are no instructions. We weren’t planning on installing this for a couple of months and without any instructions I am not sure if any parts are missing. the finish is what I was looking for as far as color. Not sure why it was sold as new.

Great Delta Replacement

Very nice shower faucet handle - needed new valve
My old shower handle was a Delta but had 2 levers - one large to turn the water on and a smaller lever to control the temp. Both were getting almost impossible to turn with my aging hands. My plumber friend installed this new one (which matches all the other Delta oil rubbed bronze fixtures in my bath beautifully). Because the existing handle was pretty old (maybe 15 years), he had to buy a new valve to make this one work. Getting the old valve and gaskets out was tricky but he finally got it. I can now control the on/off and temp with one easy movement. It's the little things that make life so much easier. Took off one star because the new valve does require getting used to.UPDATE: the valve my friend used turned out to be the wrong one and after several showers, stopped working. So we called out a plumbing company and they said - yep - wrong valve - close, but not quite. They installed the correct valve and now this handle works like a dream - LOVE it! So- if you have an older faucet - you're probably gonna need a new valve - not included.

Mismatching parts and scratched
To my surprise parts were mismatching color the cylindrical part is in black not oil brash like it should be and handle has quite a few scratches. Was sold like new. Everything was sealed or resealed.3 out of 5.
