I don't know why others are saying these look cheap or hard to assemble. They go together in 3 minutes, the color is vivid as expected, sturdy once assembled, shipped well! Yes, if you turn shade around you will see the seam and the edge shows white velcro to hold its circular shape, but who twists and turns a shade? The edge is clean and neat. I have had messy seams on the back of traditional shades. AND these are $15 each! You can't get that at retail. Lamp shades are expensive. One point to make - someone described the texture as linen. It does NOT look like linen it is more of a velvety texture / velour (for those who remember the 1970s) but nice not cheap. I love them and appreciate the price. Full instruction booklet came with mine and well packaged for shipping. Unless the carton had been smashed this arrives in perfect condition.

The items were pretty easy to assemble, and are a great update to my lamps. They give off a nice light without being to see the bulb through the shade. I would have given five stars, but the soldering on one of the frames broke while assembling. It was easily replaced.

Ordered these shades YESTERDAY in Oatmeal Linen to replace the ugly shades for a pair of thrifted lamps. They are INCREDIBLY EASY to assemble. I didn’t even need to look at the instructions! Will definitely recommend these to EVERYONE!

I love these lamp shades. They come in small boxes and you put them together. I had three put together in no time at all. Since they come unassembled, there is no chance of damage. Brilliant idea! The quality is great!

The shades are very pretty and look nicer than they are. They’re flimsy and do not really stay in place.

Great product for the price! I was skeptical as I thought the price might be “too good to be true”. The “yellow” is more of a wicker gold color and fit in nicely with my gold accents. Assembly is easy, just follow directions and I read another review for tips which was helpful. Very happy with this purchase!

They are easy to put together. However, because they have to be assembled, you can see the clips on the edges. So, not as attractive as a factory assembled item. But, I am sure it is so much easier to ship with less packing in a smaller box.
