Remarkably useful.
My kida love ramen. This is just the right size for a single package of serving. Fill with water, add noodles.. microwave for 3-4 minutes. Life out noodle stainer, plop into bowl/top, and spices and garnish, nd you are done. ONLY side for one serving. Not a family size, but my kids love it and it's safe and easy.

Great product for 1 pack of ramen
I gave this a quick try right after receiving it and it works great.I thought the roundness would interfere with the standard square pack of ramen noodles but the just fit. Fill with water up to fill line and put on lid, 4 minutes later, perfect ramen - no setting aside and letting firm noodles continue cooking (strainer allows you to remove the noodles and keep as much water as you want - I like just enough water to mix the seasoning pack).The handle IS too weak to pick up the bowl set after cooking in microwave AND the bowl WILL be hot so have a towel or hot pad ready.Recipe advice: I added 2 eggs into the water and cooked then like a poached egg (the 4 minute cook time mad e the yokes firm but it turns out tasting like 'fried rice' noodles)

One of the best ramen microwave cookers..
If you are sensitive as to how things feel this thick feel might not be for you. That being said.. it's one of the best microwave ramen cookers. It's easily portable. All utensils that come with it can be easily fit inside the cooker to take with you to and from. Easy to clean. Simply follow the instructions that come with it and your noodles will be cooked perfectly. Unless you have a faulty microwave. Can even heat water and then carefully pour hot water over the noodles in the bowl to the fill line, place the lid and a pro tip, place a thick hand size towel over to help retain heat and after 3 to 4 mins they will also be well done. The drainer is solid and drains well. I don't believe you will be disappointed in this cooker. Who knows you might even be able to find other foods to heat up or warm in this cooker.
