This is hands down a top ten vacuum cleaner. The suction is unbelievable, it's so powerful that I had to hold down the rug whilst I hoovered it! Easy to manoeuvre, the handle and stick is a good length, as is the power cable. Easy to empty with a good storage capacity. it picked everything up with ease. We've had a top of the range cordless Dyson for years and over time it's become useless at picking up and new filters are expensive and this is far better especially considering the price. The only downside I would say is that it is harder to do stairs with it but it reaches half way so isn't too bad as it's light enough to manoeuvre.

I am very satisfied with the Amazon Basics Cylinder Bagless Vacuum Cleaner. Its suction power is surprisingly strong for a compact and lightweight model, making cleaning both carpets and hard floors very effective. The adjustable suction control is a great feature, allowing me to adapt it to different surfaces easily. It’s also easy to empty and maintain, thanks to the washable HEPA filter and dust container. Overall, this vacuum cleaner offers excellent performance and value for money.

Moved from Dyson(wired) to Shark (battery) and back to this Unit (wired).Very happy. It is very light, nimble and easy to move around yet has amazing suction power - way better than Shark and right up there with Dyson.OK the components (plastic bits etc) do not look to be anywhere near the quality of Dyson. But I can buy this model every year for 15 years and still be quids in!The brand/budget value for money debate will run forever. On this occasion I'm in no doubt - the budget option is winning hands down.

Simple, yet powerful cylinder vacuum cleaner. The tool assortment is good, the cable length is adequate. Everything worked great on day one of opening and using it. I'm sure that, like with all vacuums, there will be deterioration in suction over time. However, the ultra-low price point makes this acceptable. Even the most expensive cleaners' performance will downgrade over time. For the price you pay - it's a really good deal.

Size - small and compact, also very light which is a bit annoying during cleaning as it feels the tube is heaver than the unit itself.Power - regarding small size it is very very powerful, bought additional turbo brush for carpet areas works like a charm. Sometimes have to open airlocks as suction is too strong at times.Price - so much power for such little price? Amazing.Downsides - short tube and power cord could be longer but doesn't affect use, just have to unplug to plug back in to other outlet. And also lightweight might feel cheap.Very happy with purchase, price to power 5 out of 5. Highly recommend for home use.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! I have just taken delivery of the above hoover after mine suddenly died on me yesterday! So I sat in the garden in the sunshine all prepared to spend hours trolling through hundreds of hoovers hoping to find a decent cylinder hoover within my budget. However, after spotting this little hoover & reading just 5 reviews which all said the hoover had fantastic suction etc, I thought I'd give it a go & brought it straight away & went back to my sunbathing. So I have just hoovered my cottage which is a mixture of tile floors & carpets with some rugs. Well all I can say is be prepared for the strongest suction of your life! If you happen to have lino in your home, make sure it is well glued down as the suction on this little hoover is outstanding!! The hoover itself is very light & easy to manoeuvre. The telescopic handle is really good if your short or tall. The hoover comes with lots of cleaning tools which is fantastic & they are really useful. The extension lead is a good length also, so you don't need to keep unplugging the lead to reach the other side of the lounge unless you live in a mansion with massive size lounges. It is amazing just how much dirt this fantastic hoover pick up from my carpets & tiles. It just shows how rubbish my previous hoover really was! I'm so pleased it died & I managed to find this absolutely amazing hoover well within my budget. I can honestly say don't bother wasting your time spending hours hunting for a hoover when this little gem will make hoovering no longer a chore but a pleasure. I never thought I would ever enjoy hoovering! So go ahead & treat yourself to this brilliant hoover. Amazon really deserve a pat on the back for this one. Enjoy!

After 26 yrs my henry gave up the ghost. I bought an upright hoover to replace it in november but it had very little suction & even with the attachments it was useless on the stairs & in the car.After reading several reviews I bought this amazon basics hoover. Which is Amazing! Far better than my beloved henry. The hoover is compact and comes with different attachments it has a dial which you can adjust the suction for whatever purpose yours using it for. It's just made light work of the inside of my car and my stairs. I was amazed by how much dust dirt and dog hair it collected. It was easy to assemble. Self explanatory to use. Easy to empty and very lightweight and compact. The lead isn't as long as a henry but it's a compact hoover so to be expected. I would recommend this hoover to anyone 5 stars 🌟 brilliant value for money
