Nice compact tuner, tunes my end fed 160-10m zepp antenna perfectly. Highly recommended for pota and field day, or daily base/mobile use. Can't beat the price compared to other more costly auto tuners. When you buy one be sure to check QC at the input and ant so-239 connectors they can sometimes be loose from the factory, simply tighten them up. Other than that great tuner for the cost.

Using this with my IC7100. It's small, shows the forward/reflected power in real time, and is fast to find solution. All I can ask from a fully automatic tuner. Great value for the money!

I use this tuner on my off center fed dipole and it works great! I can easily tune 80 through 10 meters I made several DX contacts on 20 meters running 100 watts!

It's an upgrade to the 100-watt version that I bought earlier, the prices are almost the same, it's more rugged electrically, bigger in size and heavier, I'll use it for the HAM radio I bought, indispensable for that transceiver, right now I have only tested on CB, optional if I use the car rooftop antenna, at 12 to14 Watts max, a single narrow band with frequencies ranging from 26.965MHz to 27.405MHz, long wire configuration ( just 5.3 meters, almost right, 5.47m is the perfect length, so it's easy for the device to achieve nearly perfect SWR figures, also I tried it through a 1:1 balun, each arm is 6.5m, the total is 13m, exceeding the full wavelength, it still works fine. When I use it with a real HAM radio without a built-in tuner, this kind of device becomes mandatory. ) and an existing taylor-made, car-roof-mount antenna that's tuned on channel 1, gradually more off-tuned on channel 40.The full range of this device is in the spec, 1.8MHz to 30MHz.

When I received the ATU, I notice that the seal had been previously broken. I also notice that the banana plug that was supposed to be included was missing. So far not a big deal.My hope was I would be able to tune my IC-7300 by reducing my random wire antenna SWR to about 2:1. This didn't happen on lower frequencies. When I tried frequencies at and above 15 meters I couldn't tune at all. The ATU apparently went into protective mode (shut down). I then attached a dummy load and allowed only 10 watts of power from my IC-7300 and it still shut down. It would only tune from 80 to 17 meters.I returned the ATU.

I bought the ATU-130 for use in the field for POTA and Field Day events, and for my QRP rigs. It has a slightly different layout than the ATU-100 on the board, bigger toroids, larger gauge wire for the inductors, and higher rated caps. I notice some of them have surface mount caps, mine does not.This unit is the same width and height of a ATU-100, and a bit longer. I figure with the higher rating I can use it on digital modes without worry or on my higher power rigs on SSB. It tunes my 255ft balance line dipole with 4:1 balun in a couple seconds in every band 160m to 6m.Great buy, if I needed another I wouldn't hesitate to get it.

Unfortunately there are no clear instructions.I found out myself:1. Push the TUNE button and the text TUNE comes on the screen.2. Push PTT on the transmitter in AM or FM mode.3. The tuner will make a lot of noise with buzzing relays then stops.4. The tuning is complete.If you push the AUTO button, a small dot appears on the screen in between the PWR and L text. This means that AUTO is on. Tuning is then automatic (with noisy relays) when the PTT is pushed on AM or FM.If you push the BYPASS button, a dash appears on the screen in between the PWR and L text. This means that BYPASS is on.
