Overall I'm pleased with this chameleon tape measure. The only reason to buy such a thing is for cuteness value, and it is cute. The one I received differs a bit from the one shown on the site. Mine is a bright, shiny copper-red color rather than antique brass. The tape itself is 79 inches long and has both inches/feet and millimeters/centimeters, which is handy. Note that the tape measure is upside down: you have to turn the chameleon head-down to read the tape. I assume this is so the chameleon's body is out of the way when you lay the tape on the surface you're measuring.

I just received my tape measure and it completely broke open after my first use. This tape measure is two metal piece held together with hot glue and 3 prongs, the tape measure is just a little tape box in the center. The hot glue is no where near strong enough so mine just fell apart in my hand. Please be aware that this tape measure doesn't have a lock feature.
