Smolink Cat 8 Ethernet Cable, 50ft 40Gbps 2000MHz RJ45 LAN Cable

I work a lot from home and need good connectivity from my workstation to the internet. Wireless works for emails and even video conferencing, but for big files, ethernet is much faster. This cable is a great solution. It is very fast and well made so it will handle constant usage. It is long enough to reach anything in the room. The outer braded jacket is very durable to withstand other devices set on top of it, rubbing against the edge of the desk or even being stepped on. It is a very good quality ethernet cable for a great price.

Running 50' of cable from my fiber optic box to my router was a risk but this cable still hits like a 3 footer. Throughput at the router is high with minimal loss when testing speeds to my fiber and then at my 50' away router (985 Mbps to 950ish Mbps). My XBox Series X is hardwired to my router through a shorter Smolink cable and stays consistently +930 Mbps. In-game latency is usually at 6 ms. 6! Stay shielded folks, especially when running cables through and around your house.

Bought to hook my Xbox series x to my new high end netgear router. All new gen. Xbox’s still only have 1 gig Ethernet ports which kinda sucks since my netgear router has 2.5G Ethernet ports and is supported by ISP. Compared to regular Cat6 Ethernet cable I did see an increase in up and download speeds on my Xbox and now at the capacity of my xbox’s Ethernet bandwidth capability. The smolink cat8 Ethernet cable is the best cat8 cable I’ve bought out of the couple so far, the plugs lock in secure to Ethernet ports and never have any connection issues like other brands I’ve tried. The flat ribbon cable is nice and sleek and installs very nicely and lays nice and flat if needed. Would absolutely buy again and highly recommend for the price!

just upgraded to fiber internet and discovered in the process that most of the issues wasn’t even the the old copper cable but was the Ethernet cables I was using , I was worried at first about this cable for its the tiniest, thinest cable and even left it last to test for I assumed it was garbage, Yet even at 50 feet it outperforms 1 and 3 foot cable, this cable with ping, jitter are non existent, speeds are maxed out, turned everything to instantaneous, I have been in this field before internet, just dial up modems and I can even see the difference these cables make even to what was an already fast system yet sluggish compared to using these wires, I used to think all Ethernet cables was basically the same after upgrading them constantly, yet these cables come very close to fiber, probably the closest, at 50 feet I tested fiber and a bunch of new Ethernet cables, the difference in this cable from fiber was almost negligible at 50 feet, yet every other cable had an issue at least compared to fiber

Very durable, works great and has fast connection speeds. The flat aspect is great for closing cable in windows car doors but also has its challenges wrapping up. That is to be expected.

This product is accurate and really got the job done. I got rid of my little bit of lag, even though I have almost perfect Internet. And now lets my dad and i play online together im using it on my ps5 and its built strong and super long even has special twist ties if your into wire management!

Excellent build quality with a sturdy braided jacket that feels like it'll last. Connection has been rock solid with no dropouts since setting it up. The length was perfect for running between rooms without needing an extension. Connectors are snug and click into place securely. Great value for a cable of this length and quality.

Bought this Cat 8 cable to connect Mr. Morrison’s waterproof cat-house service panel directly to the internet. Now the panel can communicate with Home Assistant, the generator, the hibbity bibbity, and the current-to-voltage computer at a full 40 gigabits. Ran it through a 30A PVC elbow, sealed it with purple primer, and connected one end to the panel’s main breaker and the other to my router. Internet was slow at first, but I adjusted the blue screws on the converter board until the lights flickered less. Tom says “that’s not PoE, Richard—that’s a potentially fatal wiring arrangement.” But how is the panel supposed to get firmware updates without Ethernet? Mr. Morrison has not yet logged into the dashboard, but he’s evaluating it from the roof.

Quick story short, my old ethernet cable (different brand) was disconnecting randomly on the PlayStation 5. So I bought this new Ethernet cable and it solved my disconnect problem. After various troubleshooting, this new ethernet cable solve my problem. No more disconnects.
