To Kill a Mockingbird

I can't believe I hadn't read this book sooner. Thoroughly enjoyed it and now know why it's a 'classic' and unlike some others it's an easy read. Obviously the content is not easy but Harper Lee writes in a way that helps you understand the thought processes of the time.

An American classic which everyone should read. I read it many years ago and decided to read again in my old age. Love it.
