Not quite the magic I hoped for, but very good otherwise.
Bought these after being in love with the cheaper Byron model. I enjoy the form factor, simple build and wonderful sound. These are a little... I can't say disappointing but they don't quite hit the mark.Build of the general unit is good as expected, a simple look in a larger body, but I'm unsure what the wire thing is about. (Rather than one 4ft cable it splits nearer the head so you get a shorter or longer option. Good in theory but the short option barely allows enough length to hold my phone away from my face at the usual distance when I'm using it.Sounds is very clear, highly detailed and well balanced. But that was a given. One difference to the Byron's, and to be honest, a downside, is the splashy nature of the higher frequencies. S sounds are not sharp and piercing, but cymbals and "TS" sounds have a less precise tone than I'd like, and they fall off with a very short kind of splashing effect. Similar to BeoPlay H3s, but not QUITE as obvious. It's me being nitpicky, but after being mad about the cheaper model, it's a shame I don't quite share the same admiration for this upper model.

Listen no further
I’ve been an audiophile for as long as u can remember. For 10 or so years since I’d bought a pair of (overpriced?) etymotic ER4 in ear monitors (you know, the ones with comply tips before they were a thing) I had missed the low end of the spectrum. I tried many well known brands, some well advertised ones, some overpriced ones. I even went back to Ety’s - especially when on stage listening to clicktracks. And then it struck me; the Beyer cans I had for practice at home had the best sound I’d heard for years. Why not try their in ears?As the headline says, listen no further. The sound is well balanced and crystal clean- recording studio like- across the spectrum. The lows are thumping, the highs clandestine, the isolation is professional. Oh, and they are LOUD. For the first time in years I had to turn the volume down on my iPhone to under the yellow line. The built is great, finish looks fantastic, tangle free cable amazing, the soft pouch can keep the spare tips and extension cables.10/10. Can I buy lifetime replacement service please?

Sound okay, but not worth the price. And the cable...
Edit: Aaaand less than a year later they're broken despite me taking good care of them. Seriously, buy anything else.Decent sound after wearing them in but honestly not that noticeably better than my trusty SoundMagic E10s which are a fraction of the cost. But the biggest disappointment with these is the cable. The cable is embarassingly short, it reaches just about halfway down my torso. Luckily, the headphones come with two supplied extension cables of terrible quality and ridiculous length. So you can either have not enough cable, or far too much and crackly, bassless audio. You CAN get the extension cables to sound okay if you imitate a safecracker and pull the headphone cable out juuuust enough for the full sound to come through.I wasn't going to leave a review but I was scanning through my orders and saw how much I'd paid for these, couldn't believe what they cost. Avoid like the plague.

Great sound, dumb design
Geat sound quality and light earbuds. However, the cord is unnecessarily bulky and annoyingly heavy. The clip helps with this problem, but still an unnecessarily dumb feature. The second extension cord (without clip) didn't work on my Android phone. Volume/play controls don't work on Android either.

Absolutely incredible headphones!!!!
I would consider myself an audiophile person and have owned many expensive headphones up to 900 pounds and these are definitely in my top 3. The Sound is just breathtaking with clear highs and perfectly balanced lows. The bass is perfect in my opinion. honestly, guys, you can't go wrong with these ones especially considering the low price.

Broke after a year and a half
I bought these because I really love my DT 770s and I wanted quality in-ear headphones. So I basically just went for the name. Never again! The protective metal grill on one side came off after a month, Both extension cables failed within a year, and now one side has stopped working completely.Sound quality was OK while it lasted but they never really sounded as good as I was hoping for.

Most perfect sound I've heard from in ear headphones
I've tried earphones half the price and ones for £149, and these Beyerdynamic earphones are by far better quality. Best thing about these is the clarity and how balanced they are. Great mid range, highs and lows. The way music should be listened to! They are also a top of the range earphone brand so you can trust them.
