We apologize, but the PT177 gas detector does not have a mute alarm function. Therefore, once the PT177 gas detector detects a gas leak, it will continue to sound the alarm until you move it to an area with clean air. Alternatively, if you find the alarm too bothersome, you can long-press the power button to turn it off.

On the other hand, the device you mentioned for detecting gas leaks in your surroundings is a socket-type gas leak monitor. It continuously monitors your surroundings for gas leaks and emits an alarm when a leak is detected. However, it is unable to pinpoint the exact location of the leak.

For carbon monoxide detection, specialized carbon monoxide detectors or testing equipment for automotive exhaust systems are typically required.
