Spigen Rugged Armor Designed for iPhone Xs Case (2018) iPhone X Case (2017) - Matte Black

I have been using Spigen cases on my phones for years. I have dropped phones face down onto tarmac and had that horrible feeling when you pick it up expecting the screen to be smashed and each time the Spiegen case has proved it’s worth and not a scratch on the phone! Value for money? This will pay for itself the first time you drop it - and let’s be honest we all do!

This is a great case if you are looking for a stylish cool looking case as it has carbon fibre edges and a hole for the apple logo. I was a bit hesitant to but it at first because of the price but decided to try it. It’s amazing so doubt about that.

I've been buying Spigen for years now accross multiple devices (Android and iPhone) but have never written a review.Pros:What more do you want in a case? This isn't over priced, it's extremely well made and doesn't make your phone feel like a brick.There's no question about the safety or integrity of this case by simply looking at it. The packaging is very slick and well designed. You don't put that much effort into packaging if you don't believe in your product.When you hold your phone with the case on, you feel safe that you aren't going to drop it, yet the cover is still smooth.The buttons on the side are still really easy to use and don't require any force.If you hold your phone in your hand with the bottom of your phone resting on your pinky finger, with cheap cases after a while they start to dig in and irritate your little finger. With the way this case is designed and the rounded edges, this does not happen.Cons: None

Always used this type and make of phone case for my iPhones. Not too bulky but sturdy. Comfortable to hold and offers good levels of protection. My handsets have been like new when case removed to trade them in.

This was the 3rd case I tried and definitely the goldilocks case, being just right! It fits perfectly over the iPhone XS, flexible enough to be removed, not too thick, lovely soft feel texture finish, stylish design and top quality finshed product. The button moulds are well thought out with no increase in effort required to press the on/off or volume buttons, which was something I noticed on other cases. The icing on the cake for me is the Apple logo cutout which also shows off the iPhone XS gold design, whilst keeping it subtle and nicely protected in the black case. 5 stars for design, finish, quality and functionality. Well done Spigen.

This phone case is amazing value for money, easy to put on, easy to take off and nice and click-y buttons. The only reason I am giving it 4 out of 5 stars is because it doesn’t give me the confidence that it can take a drop. The case is pretty thin and as a rule of thumb the less material you have, the less drop protection you’d have.In summary, if youre looking for a thin and light case, to protect your device from every day basic wear and tear then this is the case for you.If youre a clutz who drops their phone on a regular basis then I advise to look for a different case.

Spigen make quality products, had one on my iPhone 7 for nearly 3 years and it’s took your average wear and tear over the years however the phone is practically new.The XS case is just as good quality however I feel like to reduce costs they’ve left the circle around the Apple logo unprotected as my iPhone 7 case has a see through circle for the logo but also had a clear protection layer over it. This XS case leaves the logo to get scratched which it will with keys in pocket.
