Haf knee replacement surgery and this came in very handy, I'm 5' 125lbs and it worked like a dream, very sturdy and easy to attach to door, a life saver, great product, highly recommend.

Easy to use. Comfortable grip. Bought one for each car after trying out the first. Feels very secure and does not sound like metal on metal like another we tried that also felt sloppy connection. This is very secure. Easily fits in side pocket of door and can be carried if traveling like when using a rental car.

It's easy to attach, strong holds up to 300 pounds. It was a lifesavor getting into and out of a pickup truck after knee surgery.

My grandma took a fall a while back & her physical therapist recommended getting some sort of handle for the car. I researched & this product seemed a fair price with decent reviews. It's proven very useful! It's easy to take on/off the car and very sturdy. Highly recommend this handle to anyone needing help getting in and out of the car.

This lever part is too big to fit into the the part of our car it is intended for. But despite that, I gave it four stars. It seems very strong and looks nice. I purchased this one because it looked like some of the other handles might scratch our car door. I guess I will have to keep looking.

Easy to use, solid in helping Wife into car. Only small issue is the colored plastic/silicone(?) rubber(?) has delaminated from the white structural plastic in a small part near thumb/webbing area of grip.

I bought the two pack, one for my car and one for my parents. We have running boards on my car so when you can’t walk well those don’t help getting in the car. This handle goes right into the door latch and is super strong. It’s very handy and helps my parents get out of the car without help. Size is perfect, it fits in the door pocket and it’s cushioned but super strong.

These are great. They are made very sturdy. I like that they are all super thick rubber and not metal so you don’t have to worry about scratching your vehicle. They worked great for an elderly relative who had to get in and out of a pickup truck.

I purchased this Vive Car handle assist gadget after I saw one at the Occupational Therapy session at Holy Family Rehab hospital for my Mom. My 97 year old Mom fell and broke her hip a couple months ago and required emergency hip replacement surgery. At the hospital she was practicing how to get in and out of a car with her therapist. I am so pleased with this door handle assist tool and have since bought another for my sister's car so she can help my Mom too. Other people have seen it and asked where I bought this tool. It's super easy to use and does not scratch up my car door latch as it's made of heavy duty plastic. The plastic tooth part that goes inside the latch does get scratched a bit but my car remains safe and unscratched. The tool is heavy and has a good grip which makes it sit on the door latch sturdily. I just hook it on the latch after I have my car door open and tell my Mom to hold on to the tool when she gets in and out of my car. It has supported my Mom's weight (she's only 114 pounds) but I am sure it can handle a heavier person's hand and arm. She is more sturdy on her feet when she holds the door assist and getting in and out of the car is alot easier and safer without the risk of falling or slipping down the car seat. Thank you for making such a great tool and I feel alot less stressed when I have to take my Mom out.

Buenisimo, practico, un poco caro pero lo vale, resistente, yo tenia que cargar a mi mamá para subirla al coche hasta q me trone la espalda, encontré esto y santo remedio ella solita puede acomodarse.

Use this to help get myself in and out of the van, really useful little gadget.Wish I had one of these when my parents were alive, would of saved lots of pulling and given them some help and dignity too. Would highly recommend.

This handle is by far the very best. Other types were of no use - sliding all over, bad fit, etc. This rubberized version is 100%. Solid handle and grip, stays put in the latch and doesn't slip around; bonus - it won't scratch your paint like all the other metal versions.
