Drilled out those nasty stainess broken bolts in exaust part
They wanted $600 for this exhaust flange on my diesel, what the heck its just a metal doughnut like a gym weight !4 stainless steel bolts broken off, pitting corrosion.Read reviews saying these types of bits break but mine didn't, just push is a straight direction and take your time. They did not even seem to dull. Now I am just thinking were did I put them, I did this project many months ago and its only asking for a review now.

These bits suck
For $13.09 per bit I’d expect to get at least a single hole drilled with the damned thing…. I’m a bladesmith, so I drill a lot of holes in steel, sometimes it’s hardened carbon steel, so a solid carbide bit is the only option to get through the stuff, but hell I tried to drill NON hardened Damascus steel with these bits and is shattered before o even put enough pressure to the workpiece to start cutting the hole!!!I know carbide is brittle but holy crap this stuff might as well be made of crackers, because that’s how easily they crumbled… just a bad bit, I’ll go back to the other brand I normally use… what a waste of $13.00 for a 1/8” carbide drill bit

Hit or Miss
I had stopped writing reviews but felt I needed to do one for these. Let me start by saying I have top of the line DeWalt and Milwaukuee Cobalt bits. When starting my drilling on this hardened steel, both brands snapped after hardly a scratch. A quick bit of internet research said I needed carbide bits. I ordered these. While waiting for them to show, I read a number of negative reviews here and was pretty nervous. These bits are magic. They have gone through my hardened metal without issue. Mind you, I am on the lowest speed setting and using oil. While being a bit pricey for the 3, I have no regrets.Update: I was a bit hasty in the above review as I had only used 2 of the 3. Sadly, when I chucked up the 1/16" bit and started on the same piece of Hardened steel, it shattered immediately just like in some of the other negative reviews. The fracture line was up the shaft. I thought perhaps I had found a "harder" section but chucked up the 3/32" in the same spot and saw curly fries with no effort. I wonder if there is a QC issue.
