Campbell's Chunky Soup, Pub-Style Chicken Pot Pie Soup, 16.3 Oz Can (Pack of 3)

Chicken pot ie without the crust! Very good.

Due to my benevolence and Cook's loyalty in my employ, I had given her a holiday, as she requested...leaving me to my own devices in the kitchen. The age-old question of what to cook for dinner loomed large, as I checked the icebox and pantry for possible ingredients for a meal. In an instant, I happened upon the three cans of Campbell's pub style chicken pot pie soup, a package of albacore tuna, fine egg noodles, grated Parmesan cheese, and frozen vegetables. I had found the ingredients and proceeded to cook a tuna casserole on the stove top. With a few stirs of the saucepan's contents with a wooden spoon, and in the blink of an eye, dinner was ready... accompanied by a glass of chilled H2O, served in a fine Waterford goblet. This recipe yielded two portions, and I refrigerated one for tomorrow's luncheon. Next time Cook is on holiday, instead of fine egg noodles--for variety-- I can serve this recipe on toast points. So very convenient to be able to purchase three cans of Campbell's Soup instead of a dozen...now, if only Campbell's would reduce the sodium content a just wee bit....

I was expecting a richer creamier soup, with more flavor. You know, like a pot pie. This one doesn't have it. Way too watery, with an inferior flavor to their normal homestyle chicken soup.

Way to costly. There are so many great purchases at good prices, but this is not one.

I do use mine over chicken thighs. Not enough flavor or items in the soup to make it like pot pie.
