I have installed a lot of light fixtures over the years, and this one takes the cake. The instructions are very simple but there was no way to install the light following the instructions. I had to basically remove the inner plastic dome, then remove the circuit board, screw in the light flush to the ceiling with the nut the put the circuit board back over the stem and use the decorative looking nut back over the stem to secure the circuit board. It just doesn't work with the plastic cover the stem isn't long enough and the nut doesn't fit inside the hole to secure it... the instruction make no mention of this plastic dome inside and what to do with it. Once I figured all this out the rest was fine. The light functions fine and the app works, albeit a bit finicky. The light color seems like a "fake" warmth the lower the Kelvin rating you go like most cheap LED lights that change with app.

This light was very simple to install with very clear instructions. It looks more expensive & sleek than expected at this price point. I (68 y.o. female) installed it on the ceiling of a covered porch & operate it with an Alexa enabled Gosund wi-fi switch with zero compatibility issues.I couldn't keep gnats and other small insects out of the shade of the light I replaced with this one, so I especially appreciate that the cover seems to seal up nice & tight (tip: once I had it firmly mounted, I used small squares of electrical tape to cover the screw holes for extra insurance against insect entry into the shade). I wrapped the body of the light with a strip of painter's tape to make it easier to get a clean line where I caulked between the light and the ceiling. The color temperature of the light is very easy to adjust with a switch located on the side body of the fixture. I am very, very pleased with this product!

So grateful to upgrade from the cheese colored light my landlord had installed. My room is 15x12 and this light is super bright, also goes very dim with no buzzing noise or flickering. I have one window and get decent daylight and this thing fills out the rest of my room with matching light as if I had another window. The softer white shades and the range of colors are great for nighttime. My google wifi point makes it easy to control the light, but the cloud bay app is legit as well. Love it.

I was looking for smart lights in a classic and modern style with better LED functionality… and I found them! You can customize the white color temperature and brightness which will save even when you turn it off with a wall switch. You can customize your own RGB colors and brightness, then set up “scenes” in their app to turn your house into a rave. Lights can be grouped with different settings for each group too. I just wish it had compatibility with Smart Things (Samsung) not just Google or Alexa. Each took 10 minutes to install. Only real complaint is the color/quality of the plastic dome — would be nicer looking if it was a “warmer” color with less sheen, which makes it scream cheap plastic. The metal and finish is great though.

Update: The company reached out to me and refunded me. Great customer service!Was great until it wasn't: the white light stopped working and would only come out super dim after about four months of use.
