Hollywood Nutcrackers Suite Nutcracker, 18-Inch, Multicolored, (HA0610)

I love everything about this Nutcracker. It was packaged very well. The only problem I had is that on the top by the tree, Styrofoam was behind each figure. (Which I appreciate) The mouse had it so tight that I couldn't get it out. You have to very carefully break it into tiny pieces to remove it. But, otherwise I highly recommend 👌

Beautiful addition to my Nutcracker collection.

I have wanted a Kurt Adler Nutcracker for some time. So, I was excited to order this one, when I noticed that the price was slightly reduced.However, it arrived with the Nutcracker figure on the hat broken off. That alone would not have been such a big deal. However, upon further examination, I felt like the whole Nutcracker simply looked cheap and of poor quality.The glitter was everywhere—It was applied very carelessly, resulting in it being in stray places (e.g., the faces of the nutcrackers and other characters). The glitter was also already beginning to wear off in many places. It would not survive many Christmases even with the best of care. The Christmas tree, on the hat, only had the red ornaments on the front of the tree, rather than them being applied all the way around the tree. Also, Clara‘s dress was frayed, with loose threads hanging everywhere, and more threads unraveling. Additionally, there were so many thin strands of glue stuck to it everywhere, that it would have been impossible to remove them all.The entire nutcracker just looked cheap, especially for the price point. It looked like something you could find at a craft store—maybe in some kind of “Paint and Decorate Your Own Unfinished Nutcracker Kit” (if that existed? Lol).That being said, I was very disappointed in the quality, and ultimately, I returned it for a refund rather than opting for a replacement. I certainly won’t be buying anymore Kurt Adler products unless I see them in person first, and can determine if they are of better quality than this disaster was.

I purchase a nutcracker for my son every Christmas as a tradition and these never disappoint.
