LS2 Helmets Horizon Modular Helmet W/SunShield (Gloss White - Large)

First off, I now own 3 LS2 Helmet models. This recent purchase of the LS2 Horizon Modular helmet was no hesitation for me due to the fact that I know there quality.I received my helmet in 2 days as I did the other two helmets. I ride daily, year round in NE Pennsylvania and I'm telling you these helmets are built solid. I purchased the Horizon because I really enjoy the modular option! This helmet is built just as well as my Rapid and my Assault,both or which I have owned for over a year now and have had zero problems with them.This Horizon fits perfect and accurate to their size chart. I have never had a problem with fit. The Horizon comes pinlock ready and with an FF902 Pinlock insert, It has a built in sun screen that actually works!!! It's cable actuated and dose not flop around or rattle when in the up position. Just so many good things to say about these helmets. Most importantly they are priced right!!! You can't go wrong purchasing these helmets. I'm not being paid for this review, it's just my true honest experience with these helmets. The ventilation is amazing and works very very well!!! Get lots of fresh air in the helmet. I rode with it for about 2 hours today and really did enjoy it! One other thing, It's really easy turning your head to either side due to the way the base of the helmet is shaped, you can really turn your head very well wearing this helmet. Try one, you won't be disappointed!!!

I bought this helmet as an upgrade in safety. I originally brought this in an extra large and had to return and purchase the correct size being large in my case. The fit for me is very secure, close fitting in the areas that need support. I totally recommend this helmet!

Fits better than any helmet I have ever owned- I have an oblong head so most helmets are too tight around my forehead and give me headaches. Also like drop down sun shield and modular style as helmets that do not open up are nearly impossible for me to put on.

I am new to riding (about a year) so I'm hardly an expert on helmets, but I've been wearing this for several months now and can give my impression. Fit seems good although I probably should've gone one size up as it leaves a mark on my forehead and is maybe a touch snug on my jaw, but it doesn't feel uncomfortable at all even so. Wind noise seems pretty good, the pin lock works well, and the mechanicals function well with one exception. The sun visor does not smoothly drop and raise via the switch anymore. I have to manually move it into position both up and down. Other than that, no real complaints.

Makes me feel safe while riding my motorcycle!

Great helmet. Despite being modular the noise is pretty low. At 70mph I can still hear my Cardo clearly. Only caveat is they run a little small. If you think you have a large head, get an XL. You'll be on the top end of each size range no matter what.Weight - manageable. Not the lightest helmet, but for an affordable Moduler it's relatively light.Finish - the Matt black shows scuffs but that's fine by me. Wounds heal, chicks dig scars and glory lasts forever.Visor - anti scratch as much as plastic can be. I'm 3 months in and no permanent scratches. Even rode with the front flipped up and shade Visor down and no issues. All tight.Cushioning - little bit tight in the cheek area. But I got chubby cheeks.Strap - easy quick release and just as easy to pop on while riding in case you forget to click it before taking off.Comfort - gets a little foggy at stop lights. But I live in south Florida so most helmets do.Overall - great helmet. Would definitely buy again.

I always used LS2 helmet because of the low price and good construction, this one is a little more expensive than the average, but the construction is totally other thing, built is great noise reduction is better and the pin lock included was a plus. It fits well, there are more space in the ears area, no more pain when using headphones, the only downside that i found is a little pressure in the cheeks.

It was comfy and it was modular. I like the drop down shades
