Such a great design, does not make a peep!

I spent years getting engineering degrees. Then I spent years listening to an annoying water hammer caused by a check valve. Just goes to show you that education does not guarantee common sense. I should’ve installed to this quiet valve long ago. Easy DIY.

I’m using this valve with a ejector pump. This valve is very quiet and does not seem to impede the flow when the pump is running. So far it looks like a good quality check valve.

I bought this to replace a 18 year old shut off and check valve. Being longer than the older model made it perfect to cut out the old and glue the new set in. Could not have been easier!

The valve I replaced shook the whole house. I regret not replacing it sooner with this quiet valve. I am very happy with my purchase. A great value.

I replaced an older existing, different design Zoeller check valve with the new Zoeller 30-0048 silent check valve and what a big difference! Eliminated the "water hammer" noise entirely! Nice to not have to listen and feel the entire house vibrate, shake and make a loud banging noise from the back flow after the pump kicks off! Would definitely recommend and relatively simple to install.

I put this in vertically above my sump pump. Had to cut some of the PVC in the existing line to make room for the fixture. I love the threaded valve section in case I need to replace it in the future. I installed it to replace a very noisy standard check valve that always "banged" when the water softener recharged. Usually in the middle of the night. Now we have to periodically check to make sure the softener is recharging LOL.
