Was not happy with this, the plates were not as deep as described.

Well what a brilliant little waffle maker.For the price this little waffle maker is excellent value for money.I was skeptical of the brand at first, however for the 20 odd quid I paid for it I thought I’d give it a try as one can always send it back if it’s no good.The waffle maker is really easy to set up as directed in the instruction book, and there is a small recipe book with 3 or 4 basic recipes provided in the box as well.I made some Paleo waffles and they turned out brilliantly, I have no doubt normal waffles would come out perfect as well. I found the handy temperature control slider was perfect when set to medium for my waffles but it’s a nice feature to have for waffle batter that may need a longer cooking time with less intense heat.The only thing I would say is it’s quite tricky to judge the right amount of batter to put in each section to make the Square American Style waffles… however I prefer the Belgium Style “Look” waffles that are round which is easy as you just spoon a decent amount of batter on and then close the lid.To clean it I just wipe it down with a damp cloth and then store the waffle maker with a folded up Kitchen Paper in between the plates to stop them touching each other and wick up any excess moisture/oil residue after cleaning.

Nice cheap waffle iron, only problem is if batter over flows it goes down in to temp control lever gap which is horrible to clean

Nice and easy to use. Would be 5 stars but the lid to open gets very hot and temperature selection doesn’t have guidance but figured it out.Can’t take apart to clean but easy to use a cloth as non stick. Great purchase just worry about opening and closing due to heat

Heats up very quickly, produces very nice waffles, cooked all over and plates are easy to clean although it would be better if able to remove them.The only downside is the handle gets very hot and I had to use a towel to lift it. But for the price, I think it is a good waffle maker.

All in all a decent product I've mostly used to make chaffles, but it's been very good.The hinge on the lid is quite loose by nature which is a little annoying for storage especially, but splitting hairs really

The lid is a bit wobbly and doesn't always line up, and if you put a little too much in causing a little overflowing, it can get into the actual machine around the heated plates making it difficult to clean. There is temperature control available but no instructions on what temperatures are for what outcomes.That being said its made a lot of children very happy! It cooks evenly on the middle setting.
