CAP Barbell Coated Dumbbell Weight | Multiple Options Pairs & Sets

These are affordable, decent quality weights. They are all you need if you are working out at home and will last. They are coated in rubber so they work better for someone like me who has wooden floors. Those steel weights that have no coating eat up my floor.The price is very reasonable and even as low as used weights you can find at play it again sports. Delivery is the BEST PART. Not having to go and get 120 lbs and walk it to my place and up two flight of stairs was the best part.

These have a good satisfying feel to them. The knurling on the handle is just right to give a good grip without being overly rough, and they feel sturdy overall. The head shape is nice because you can set them down flat or stand them on end without them falling over or rolling around.As others have mentioned, they do have a rubbery smell to them. Smells exactly like new car tires. May in fact be the same rubber that tires are made of. I got one pair from Walmart and one pair from Amazon and they both smell the same, so if you want to preview the smell before buying, head over to Walmart's sporting goods section and give them a whiff. I kind of like new tire smell, so it doesn't bother me.My 15 pounders arrived in good condition. Individually boxed with a bit of padding.Another thing to note is that the handle is thicker on 15lbs and up. The 10 pounders are one inch, 15 pounders are 1.25 inch.

Well made and the overall quality is nice. Size is good and easy to use. I believe the weight is as described, I did not weight them on scale but similar feeling as the one at the gym. The color is silver handler and black bells. Comfortable shape to use. Good choice for workout

For the price, you can’t go wrong! Excellent value.There are “prettier” dumbbells, but what you need in a dumbbell is function over looks. That being said, these dumbbells look pretty darn good. I ordered 10lb thru 35lb sets. Yes, they come in pairs of two and not single dumbbells like others have claimed.As for the smell… there is a rubbery odor when I unboxed the weights. What do you expect? They’re rubber! Have you even been to a tire shop? All rubber will have an odor. However, these did not smell overpowering by any means.Other reviewers have mentioned they were oily, but I received all 14 of the dumbbells and not one of them needed wiped down.I ordered the black handled dumbbells and the paint does take away some of the gnarling on the handle as the paint fills up the smack between the checkering. It’s still there, just not very pronounced. Yes, the black paint had some scuffs (probably dyes to sitting in a box with other handles until they were needed. But, again, they are weights, I hope you’re getting these to workout and not take pictures with.One of the 35lb weights did have a small flaw where the rubber had an air pocket that came to the surface. What the manufacturer did was put a little more rubber over top of it. When I noticed it, I kinda scraped it a bit and it came off exposing the hole underneath. Not a deal breaker. I’ll fill it with some Krazy Glue and it will be fine.Would I order them again? Absolutely. I’m planning on ordering the 40, 45, and 50 pound weights next month!

They feel heavier than what is mentioned.Rest they are sturdy and do not look cheap.If you are looking for a budget friendly set.This is definitely my recommendation.

Loved them! Easy to grip, very sturdy. The plastic does shed a little on the first uses but besides that, it is perfect.

Perfect weights! Great grip, color is same as pictures. Size is comfortable for different weighted workouts. Definitely will last a whileSame kind that are available in our apartment gym complex. The only con I would say is there is a tire smell to them & it hasn't gone away even when leaving them out. But still worth it in my opinion!
