Works as good as a factory BMW window regulator.
I just finished installing this window regulator in my 2001 BMW E39 530i, and it installed just like the factory BMW window regulator, rear window goes up and down just like new.

horrible
Failed after less than 10 uses. installed properly with added lithium grease to avoid the inevitable but here we are again. I would have liked to give a 0 or - * review yet when purchased my thoughts were $30 if it works awesome if not just lost some time working on my BMW. This is not the solution, I will be buying OEM through BMW direct or 3rd party as I have had the same issue with a $150 after market version (which lasted significantly longer 2ish years). Hate to say this but you actually get what you pay for in this sector of the market, and these are a bit of a pain to replace. Though I have become very efficient in the process of replacement it is still not fun and I would not recommend anyone take the gamble of being optimistic this product will be a solution for a short-long time. Wait until you are willing to invest in a OEM regulator.

Best bang for your buck if your motors still work!!!
these regulators work just like the factory one. if your e39 rear windows dont go up and down but you can still hear the motors moving, this is your best option! i was able to put the factory motors on the new tracks without any issue. i did however need to run to the hardware store to pick up 4 m6x1.0 bolts to secure the bottom of the regulator in the door since the factory didnt use machine screws like these do, no big deal. couple dollars later and my windows were working perfectly again!!

You get what you pay for, but works
When going to install, found the framework was lil mangled/tweaked. Got it straightened out and worked.

YOU DONT HAVE TO BUY BMW OEM!
This works just as good as the BMW original part. You take the electric motor off of the broken window regulator and put it on this one and your cars computer will run it just like it used to run the old one. And with a few hand tools this is a very easy fix that a shop would charge a thousand dollars to fix.

buy a higher quality regulator
Installed after having to use a few different bolts that I had to go to the hardware store for. Used it for two days and its already making noises like its going to break.

The part installed properly as it should. I have had it in the car for a few months now, and everything works well.

Not worth the savings
Right after installing this I knew it was probably a mistake. Unlike all the other windows which come to a close very softly/smoothly, this rams into the end of travel with an audible thud. I knew it probably wouldn't last very long, and sure enough 11 months later it is dead and needs replacing.

Working well...
Old car, but rear right window for my 4 paw buddies enjoyment, so replaced, working well 2 months later. Advice ; look at several youtube videos to help avoid mistakes, several videos show how to...
