Confession đ„
I confess: I bought this stick only because I found the signature name, Colin McNutt, endearing. Poor gentleman, going through life with a name one step worse than Marty McFly from Back To The Future...he deserves our support! Something tells me that his wife kept her maiden name. Anyhoo, this stick rocks. Why? Beefy at 0.69, and has a huge knob head that is not exactly teardrop, but definitely not barrel head either. I like the rapid taper rather than slow taper design. Winner! Thank you, Mr. McFly...I mean, McNutt! đ„

My Favorite Marching Snare Sticks
Perfectly weighed to take maximum advantage of the rebound. Great, full-bodied sound at ppp, fff, and in between. Feels better in the hands and plays better than the Hardimons or the Aungsts (though I like the Aungsts too). Highly recommend these sticks for drum line use or chop building.

Very good product
My high school line has been playing hardimons for a while so it's nice to switch. What I really like about this stick is the nice dark tone you get, also it has great rebound. It's a fairly light stick in comparison to hardimons or dc50s so I'd reccomend that you fully tape them in order to get a more balanced feel. Tl;dr they're fantastic.

Purchased exclusively for playing "The McNutt Special"
The Ralph Hardimon's are a little better IMO, but when you gotta meme you gotta meme

which was pretty cool). Long story short
Many years ago my sister marched with Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps at the same time that Colin McNutt worked with them. I traveled with the corps doing odd jobs that summer (cooking, washing busses, etc.). I never had anywhere near enough chops to march with them, but on a few occasions Colin gave me some technique points and I was grateful (Thom Hannum did once too, which was pretty cool). Long story short, when these sticks I thought I'd try them out.I am a huge fan. They've got a great big bead of a head and feel great in my hand. I work a little with the drum line at the school I work at and I recommend these sticks to all oft he kids.
