Not blinding Bright but easy to use. Ideal for indoor use.
Lets get the (semi) down side out right away. It is not the super blinding bright mega LED we have all come to love. But many agree, for home defense (or other indoor use), a flamethrower of a light can be a determent. I can identify a threat, friend, foe at 25 yds with ease. Now to the BIG plus side. The switch is in the ideal place if you are using it rail mounted on an AR. It has this trick little safety lock to prevent it being activated in a case or while sofa ninjas are on night maneuvers. It can be flicked off very intuitively (should you forget) when the times comes. It is very durable. The case/body is as sturdy as any non--military-combatant will ever need. If you plan on going to Iraq or fighting a Zombie uprising, grab your wallet and go with the Surefire Scout. For the other 96.5% of us, this will be all you could ever want.

Love this light.
Fits perfect on my firearm. Very bright and effective for home defense. Highly recommended.

Best light for the price.
I’ve become a fan of Inforce. I read they discontinued these as well as the APLC because of newer versions coming out so I ordered one of each before the ran out of stock. I’m sure the new ones will be nice too but they will also be more expensive, around double the price. I like the controls on this light better then other rifle lights but the APLC is my favorite. I took away a star for brightness because there are brighter options but I picked the smaller light to fit better. It puts out plenty of light. I’ve come to realize that pattern makes as much of a difference as lumens and this is great for the size/weight. The controls work well when mounted on the side of the rail where you can reach it with a thumb. Check out the APLC or it’s bigger brother APL.

Superb, lightweight, compact, and brighter than expected.
I really wanted to like this light when I bought it, but I had no idea that I would just plain love it. Its a great looking light, no doubt, but the thing is very well made and thought out. Easy to mount and dismount, with a well designed button that works from a variety of grip positions. The real treat is the brighness, and perfect mix of spill and focus. I get a very wide field of view with it, yet I can see all the way down my 400yd driveway. It is pure excellence. Highly recommend it.

I love this light and I'm planning to buy one or ...
I love this light and I'm planning to buy one or two more.Pros: Very sleek, light, and plenty bright. Its easy to install/remove and the controls are simple to understand and operate. Good battery life. Gen 2 design is suppose to be more durable (time will tell). Great upgrades over the Gen 1 version.Cons: Must be installed on the handguard in a reachable and comfortable spot in order to operate since there is no tape switch. No brightness adjustment. No option for direct attachment to Mlok/Keymod slots so usage of an ad-on rail section is needed depending on where you want to install this light, which can get pretty clunky and "un-sleek" on short super slim/light handguards. Since most super slim/light handguards only have rail section on the top front end I hope future models incorporate a front sight option because the top front end of a short super slim/light handguard is best place to mount this, such as on an SBR or AR-Pistol.

Nice light
Mounted on 10.5" barrel Ar15. Fired 300 rds with no wobble or malfunctions. Had to mount it far up to get comfortable hyper-extended C-grip. Gets a bit of powder residue from my vortex for how far up its mounted but it takes it. Powder residue just wipes off. No issues so far. The angled tail cap button is great and my primary reason for purchasing it. You don't need a separate light mount and it has a quick release built in. So removing it is very easy. I'm impressed so far just the price is high. I prefer streamlight but you can't beat how streamlined this light is. It sits flush against the picatinny rail. I've beaten the crap out of streamlights and they still work. Have one mounted on every rifle I own except one pictured. Guess we'll see how this one holds up in comparison. It's a very nice tool but like I said...expensive... hope it was a good investment.

Good little light
I was actually surprised how at how good it really is. Well made, well thought out and plenty bright enough to do the job. I have it mounted to a Black Axes quad rail, on a Mossberg Shockwave. The angled body of the unit puts the buttons in perfect position, without compromising grip. Highly recommend!

Excellent light, packed with useful features
This light is excellent as an accessory for my rifle. It has every useful feature you need, including a strobe function that can be disabled if you choose, a physical block to prevent your accidentally discharging the light, and a switch to go from a pressure light to touch light. The main switch is textured differently to enable you to find it easily in darkness or without looking at it. The unit is also built well enough that it can take a lot of abuse. This light outperforms all others I've used, and I've tried and used many over the years. Simple, easy to use, light, reliable, and rugged.
