Works on a 96 4runner
Easy install took about 5 minutes. Product is quality for the price.

Works great!
We have a bunch of Toyota cars and trucks in our family. After a while, the ignition wears out. Usually I don't love Dorman parts. But, this is my go to ignition switch when they wear out (98 toyota tacoma and 96 4runner). Some of the other cheap ones don't fit as well, and are not as well built. I bought one other cheap one, trying to save 5 bucks, and it didn't fit at all. So, this is my go to.

Solid replacement.
Solid replacement for a 3rd gen 4runner. Turns nice and comes with 2 keys. It is a direct replacement and fits right in, only takes 5 minutes and your all done. Only down side is your door and ignition key will not match up anymore, but it's to easy to carry two keys on a lanyard. Great buy in my opinion.

Easy-Peasy
1996 Toyota 4Runner. Had a hard time getting the old ignition cylinder out....a C-clamp and vise-grip, and out she went. Drop in EASY install. Definitely will buy again. Great price, easy install.....what's not to love.

Worth the $
Easy to install. Even though I had to drill pin. Think you have to if key won’t turn at all anymore. Worked perfectly on my 98’ Toyota 4Runner.

Doesn’t work on 99 Toyota 4 runner limited v6
When I received the switch the pin was broke and the plate that hold down the ring was broke on all 4 corners

Great product works as described, fits 2000 Tacoma 3.4 l v6. No issues at all easy to install , Dose not feel cheap or plastic like key is good and sturdy too
