Beautiful Labels with a Few Problems
I've been using Avery Matte Frosted Clear Address Labels for Inkjet Printers #8663 for the past three years. I use the Avery.com/templates website to create my labels and then save them to my Avery account. It’s free to set up an Avery account and there is no charge to create the labels. You don’t have to buy the labels on the Avery website in order to use their free templates, you only need the product # of the Avery labels you are using. It’s so handy to have the addresses that I have sent Christmas cards to saved on the Avery website every year. Each year, I just open my account on the Avery website and my address labels are ready to be printed. There are a few things that should be improved with the labels. The pages still stick together when used with my Epson WorkForce 545 ink jet printer, despite Avery's new SureFeed Technology. I have to put one sheet of labels at a time in my printer’s paper tray and print the labels one page at a time. It’s a hassle and takes a lot of extra time having to do it that way, but I’ve found that’s the only way to not have the pages stick. I do like that the frosted clear labels virtually disappear on the surface of white Shutterfly envelopes. I don’t like the look of white paper labels for Christmas cards; too business-like. The Matte Frosted Clear labels are made of an acetate/plastic-like material, so the ink from the ink jet printer doesn’t absorb like it would into a paper surface, it just sits on the surface of the clear label. Last year, several of the Christmas cards that I mailed were returned to me because the post office had somehow scraped off some of the mailing address printed by my ink jet printer onto the Avery label and the address was no longer readable by the post office. This year, I used a heavier-weight font on the address labels and I didn’t have any Christmas cards returned by the post office. I will likely continue to use these labels despite the problems, because I like the clear look. Hoping Avery will change their new SureFeed Technology by Christmas 2020 to fix the sticking problem.

Good Time Saving Product
These labels are a great time saver. I send out monthly signed birthday and get well cards to our church members. It's helpful because the cards are signed by the same senders, so I just peel and stick the signed and prepped image to dozens of cards each month. Once an older couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary and needed to send lots of thank you note cards. I used the labels to write several personalized thank you notes and the couple's names. All they had to do was peel and stick to the inside of each card. They loved them. The labels also make good stickers on small gift boxes to give to wedding or party guests. See the uploaded picture

They looked great and every was amazed when I told them I ...
I picked these labels up to create a custom logo design on LED wine glasses I bought for a party. They looked great and every was amazed when I told them I was the one who made them. Everyone thought they were purchased that way. Nice complement. One comment though, was I expected them to be clear as in see though clear. The minus 1 star is because they're not exactly clear, but have a frosted look to them. For my needs I was able to make them work. However I was hopping for a true clear as in so clear you can see though look. Oh well still wasn't a deal breaker for me. Just an FYI in case you're really looking for "crystal clear" labels.

No Smudges!
Bought these to print our address on for RSVP cards as well as the return address of our wedding invitation. I loved how big they were for an address, looks better than a standard sized address label. They are 'frosted' which is a bit of a bummer but from reading other reviews I expected this. Mine did not smudge at all after printing! Didn't even need drying time! I suspect the people who had that issue either used the wrong type of printer for the label (this one is specifically for inkjet) or they use off-brand ink. I used an epson printer with epson ink.

Super user friendly for great labels
Super easy to use and print great with any inkjet printer! Avery’s instructions are very easy to follow. They provide templates on their website so you just add your design and print it out. Worked great on all different colors. Only tried printing with black font so I don’t know how other colors would work but the black font looked great.

Soap labels
I use these as labels for my handmade soaps. It's nice on a ziploc bags as the soap can be clearly seen. I'm able to get my company name, soap name and ingredients on this label.

Does the job but difficult to work with
Using them with an Australian printer can be very fiddly and I definitely wasted some sheets but once they worked they looked good. Its also frosted so keep that in mind!
