May Require Modification
Be aware that the carb I received had 4 screws on the side holding the plate on instead of the 2 like OEM. The pictures also show 2 on this listing but that was not the case for mine. This resulted in the throttle cable guide hitting the screw. I had to grind down the plastic of the cable guide in order for the carb to go on the entire way.

Husqvarna 128 LD - Runs like new
This part is a high quality replacement for the Husqvarna 128 LD. No need to buy OEM. This carb is priced right and the kit provides everything needed to perform the task. Long nose curved pliers are helpful, but not needed. I had to adjust the carb a half turn on the low side (adjustment closest to the body).

you don't have to be a mechanic to complete the swap.
Took maybe 10 minutes to swap carbs with an 8 mm socket and a pair of needle nose for the fuel lines.

Great carburetor
Everything worked well but the spark plug. It made my trimmer back fire. Also I had to enlarge the fuel line holes on my tank for the new fuel line.

Not the right spark plug
The parts all work for a 128ld except for the spark plug. The provided plug would not allow the trimmer to rev as you would pull the throttle and it would bog down immediately and die. Something about the plug does not allow it to reach higher rpms. I replaced mine with an ngk recommended by a Husqvarna dealer and it ran great afterwards
