My husband uses it to cut bushes and firewood. It's not heavy, it's easy and it does the job. He liked it so much we got my dad one for Father's day. He is 85. I can use it too. Made the job of cleaning up a downed tree go quicker. I use the little chain saw for branches and cut the big parts with his gas chainsaw.

We had a mature maple tree fall down in our yard. Our 18" chainsaw was broken and while it was getting repaired my wife got impatient and bought this to get the cleanup started. My laughter quickly abated as she worked through about half the tree on the ground, cutting 3 inch branches with ease and with a little effort even cutting 4 inch branches, all of which were dragged to the burn pile. She recharged it from empty 4 times while working on the tree and it used bar oil at a much less proportionate rate than our other saw. By the time the gas powered saw was back only the larger limbs and trunk remained. Impressive.

Liked the size. Easy to start. Great for cutting small shrubs and trees.

Bought it for my husband & he says it is the best saw he has ever used & better than a standard size chain saw. He would like to know how to buy a second battery for it.

This works great on smallish (1"-4") branches or trees. I found it most helpful to be able to hold branches in one hand while cutting with the other. It isn't as beefy as a gas chainsaw and it takes a little while to get used to cutting without causing the chain to bind, but cuts effectively for a surprisingly long time on one battery charge. I also used it to trim some very high up branches by climbing the tree and holding on while I cut the branch - something I wouldn't try if I had to keep both hands on a chainsaw. Overall very happy with my $39 investment.

I love this saw! I am nearly my 70 and was having a lot of vegetative debris in my yard. This saw is easy for me to handle, and made quick work of the necessary yard work. This was even more valuable to me because the heat right now is in the 90’s.

It's cute and it cuts. The instructions are a terrible translation of Chinese to English. They make no sense at all. They never mention how to oil it and I KNOW chainsaws need oil! They mention parts that don't exist! It will probably last a couple days and then fall apart. No way to contact manufacturer.

Works well. I also have the 4" version which is more convenient for getting hard to reach branches in bushes. 6" useful for larger branches.
