HealthSmart Walker Glides, Walker Caps or Walker Pads also for Rollators, Universal Fit, Pack of 2

I bought these for my mom's walker because the tennis balls she had been using had worn through. She loves these and says they move and feel so much better that the tennis balls. My mom said they work well on smooth or carpeted surfaces and glide so much better on the carpet than what she was using before. When her physical therapist saw them, she commented that these are the best. Some gliders that are like skis can get bumped so that they aren't facing forward which causes then not to glide as well. These don't have that problem :) I think my mom's physical therapist is correct in saying these are the best.

My husband wore through the pads that came with his walker. These are much stronger and areLasting longer.

I thought my walker was about done for. It was noisy; I thought the wheels were about to fall off. These glides solved everything—no more rattling and there is no problem with the wheels. These are easy to install. My walker now glides along smoothly and silently, and I get a ton of comments on its new, bright shoes!

Purchased for my mother. She seems to prefer them to the tennis balls. May depend on the surfaces one tends to travel. These work better on carpeted floors. But they also glide well on tiles. She likes them. Said she was stepping on the ski type glides but not these. Have to see how they wear though.

When I first tried to put these on a walker, they really did not stay on no matter how hard I pushed. I was sure they would fall off easily. VERY DANGEROUS!I had a difficult time trying getting these on a walker by just pushing them on.I was an engineer and worked out a solution.If you pull the white part out from the green part with some difficulty it will pop out about 1/2”.Then push the green part over the walker leg.With the walker upside down, ie with the handgrips on the floor, firmly press the white part down and until it snaps into place.UPDATE: once you get them installed correctly, they work quite well.Update 9/20: These glides work exceptionally well. They work better than everything else we have tried both on carpet and hardwood floors. They slide easily but not too much. Much better than wheels, tennis balls or the original rubber bumpers.Highly recommended!

They work much better than the original glider feet. When I fold up my walker,these new feet don't get in the way of the wheels. Also on a carpeted floor, the walker won't slide backwards. They make disability a little easier.

I’ve been using split tennis balls on the back legs of my walker for over 10 years. My usual supplier stopped selling them, so, of course, I consulted Amazon.ca. As I expected, there were many walker accessories available. Based on other reviews, I bought my new “slider-feet”. As soon as I installed them, I knew I’d made a wise choice. The walker now glides easily on my carpeted and hardwood floors. If you’re tired of bald, cracking tennis balls on your walker, buy these! You won’t be disappointed!
