I have been needing a dishwasher clean/dirty indicator for years; but my dishwasher doesn't have the fancy metallic door like most. So when I ran across this sign I was ecstatic!!! It goes on the inside and hangs on the top rack. So that's actually another bonus; it's not a tacky sign hanging on the front of your dishwasher. You only need to know whether they're clean/dirty when you open the door anyways, so it's perfect! It is a nice weight and stainless steel so it does not rust. It's attractive and simple to use. Before you close the door to start the dishwasher just flip it over to "Clean" so that even if YOU forget, the next person to open the door will know they are clean. And after you empty the dishwasher, flip it over to "Dirty" and as you start adding dishes, anyone who opens the door will know they are dirty dishes.This was a great purchase. Shipped fast, packaged well, great price. Would def recommend.

This is a way better way to do this. It's inside the dishwasher, keeps your kitchen very clean looking, and its discreet but very functional. I love it I have been using it for 2 weeks now and its very high quality and easy to use. I also have a 2year old and she would always take our old sign and hide it, this one is mounted inside the dishwasher so she never takes it. I would recommend this one over the others in the market as I have tried many and this one checks all my boxes for being design and made right! Thank you for a great product.

This dishwasher sign was exactly what I was looking for - easy to use, effective, and inconspicuous/invisible to company. Not finding any other solution that met my needs, I disregarded the reviews about the lettering wearing off and purchased it. It arrived on Sept 9th and this picture from today Oct 3rd shows the lettering already wearing off. We run our dishwasher every 2-3 days. It seems like etching the letters on would have solved this.As a result, I would not recommend this product.

Well made and a great look! I really didn’t want anything on the outside of the washer but this concept is exactly what I like. If anyone opens the dishwasher it clearly says dirty or clean and it’s stainless steel and the writing is beautiful. As we load the dishwasher “dirty”. When setting it for washing it’s real easy to flip, So when the dishes are done and it’s open it says clean dishes. The arch that allows it to clip does not do any damage to the basket. I really recommend this product and it’s at a fair price as well as great quality

Every time I try to help my mother with her dishes I can’t tell if they are clean or dirty so decided to purchase this for her. Its funny how something so simple can be so helpful. When you are ready to run the dishwasher just turn it to clean then as soon as u start to empty it, you flip it to dirty. It takes a little getting used to in the beginning but becomes a habit pretty fast. There are definitely cuter ones on the market but they all go on the outside of the dishwasher and since my son loves to play with everything he’s not supposed to, I decided to go with this one as it goes on the inside of the dishwasher. It seems to be sturdy and doesn’t look like it’s going to rust or fade. Definitely worth a few bucks

Great concept (especially since I have a toddler!), but the letters are beginning to wear off 6 months in. Still legible, though, but I don't know for how much longer!

I'm a nanny and often my job entails loading and unloading the dishwasher for the families I work for. Because the parents and I take turns with the dishes, it's a common issue for us to not know what's clean or not. I got this for my most recent job because they have a toddler and their kitchen is very small. So they needed something that would be out of sight, but do the job. I love the style of the sign and all of us enjoy using it! I wanted to buy another one for another family I work for, but it's showing as unavailable. Hopefully they come back in stock soon because I would totally buy one for every future job I ever have!

With 2 young and mobile kids in the house, this is a game-changer. I am almost embarrassed to say that I've been known to put away almost a half load of dirty dishes thinking they were clean...thanks to one of my kids flipping the clean/dirty magnet on the OUTSIDE of the dishwasher. I can't trust that darn sign.And now this...what a novel idea... put the sign on the INSIDE! A simple and sturdy product that I have been enjoying for several weeks already. I now see the light...I feel reborn. I have new confidence in the kitchen. I will never again set the dinner table with dirty plates.
