Great Light -
So I saw Monstrum just released this light to their product line so i thought I give this a try for one of my new "budget" AR builds. Came in 2 days of placing the order, the light and push button worked great as intended however the pressure pad did not work. Tried it multiple times but there was an issue internally with the cables. I was going to return it and get something more expensive but I thought I'd give Monstrum's customer service a shot at replacing it. Emailed them the same day, got a response the next day with them apologizing for the inconvenience and said they would mail out a replacement. Literally in 4 days I had a brand new pressure switch attachment, this time worked flawlessly. Great customer service with great products. Anyone looking for an inexpensive weapon light, definitely give this a try. For the price you cant beat it, and with the good customer service of Monstrum I will definitely be looking at their products in the future

Great Bang for the Buck
I bought 2 of these to mount on shotguns. They have worked out extremely well.We live out in the sticks so they have been used outside at night for pest control as well as on a home defense pump 12. Zero issues this far and I would buy them again.I would say they are perfectly bright. Not too bright for inside the home but bright enough to use inside shotgun ranges outside. The mounts have held up well this far ( about 300 rnds).I haven't even tried the tape switch. I don't need it. I was able to mount them in the exact spot I needed them to be able to operate them without issue. Thus far I would buy them again. I will update if that changes. However I've had good luck with Monstrum stuff so I don't expect any issues.Update:I now have over 500 rnds thru the semi auto shotgun and this thing has been a champ. I have since purchased 2 more for a total of 4 and they are all working well however as I stated previously I don't use the tape switches so I can't speak to those.Remember to pull the mount apart and add blue loctite to the 2 screws in the mount as well as the screws that mount on the pic rail and you shouldn't have any issues. Also I noticed the also offer this same setup with an offset style mount. I really don't think it will be as sturdy as this inline mount. The physics just don't land in it's favor. However I don't have experience with that setup so I could be wrong.

nice and basic light, however pressure switch is not durable
for the price it's bright and simple enough. rear cap clicks on and off, pressure switch is momentary on only.offset mount is nice and low, mounted on an AK Ultimak rail it does not obstruct my iron sights or my TRS25 red dot. if mounted on an AR quad rail or rail with picatinny sections, it sits very close to the rail which in many cases is nice. however i mounted it at 3:00 so the light would sit at 1:00 right next to my front sight and it sits so close that it doesn't clear my magpul front BUIS. it would have worked if i had some slimmer sights or even a front sight post.the problem i had is the pressure switch wire broke where it connects to the switch after no time at all. i mounted the pressure switch and managed the cable so that it bent where it connects to the switch and the light wouldn't come on unless i jiggled the cable. if you're handy enough to strengthen that connection it's a good deal but otherwise just stick with the tailcap.

Really??
This is how light was packaged .this is why it don't work!! When you have a product that flies around in a box like this.....it's more than likely gonna break!! Whoever packaged this item..shouldn't be working this job!!!

Very bright
I am a flashlight addict. So, I was very surprised at the brightness and strength of the beam. I hope the batteries last a good while and it will be perfect. It rivals my 3c led beast.

good light duty light for the price
toss away the pressure pad switch cap and pad, its junk, just use the momentary button on end for your tactical purposes. ITs okay for brightness and the beam pattern is not adjustable, It is what it is. The rail mount is nice and sturdy and holds up to both 5.56 riffles and 12 gauge shotties with 00 buck max drams no problem.

Not all works
When I connected the rear switch that you operate with your fingers on a handle I found that it would not keep the flashlight on it on however when I would use the button it worked just fine so the secondary switch is no good and cannot be used.

Don't hunt in the dark without a good light.
This light works really well with plenty of light to do the damage, placing it on my 12G tactical Mossberg 500 which I use for security backup when hunting.
