Work great

Rebuilt bunks on my trailer decided to put these on over just carpet like what I replaced. Wow what a difference easy one hand cranking boat up even on steep angle landings. Don’t have to back as deep so no more dealing with wind and currents boat loads much easier, well worth the money.

Great upgrade to carpeted bunks.

These are exactly what I was looking for, at a great price. These are built for the narrow side of a 2x4 or 2x6 bunk. There is a different model for bunkboards that lay flat. They are super slick, and appear very durable. Leave your winch strap or turnbuckle attached until right before the water. These things are so slick, some boats may slide right off, if you stop too suddenly on the ramp. The will not hold dirt, like carpet, scratching your hull. They do not need to be dunked to slick them up, like carpet. They will not hold water against your bunks, like carpet, thereby extending the life of your bunkboard life. They can be installed over carpet, but then you're still holding water against wood. If you don't like the look of the bare wood, paint it. I doubt these are any better than any other brand of similar glides, they all seem to be made of similar materials, I chose these based upon price. Some kits offer an end piece that laps over the back end of your bunkboard, kind of like an "L" shape, you don't need it. If you are loading properly, your boat doesn't touch the end of the bunk until you're all the way on, or maybe even when you start to pull out. If it does, then you're not backing down deep enough, causing excess strain on your trailer, hull, and powertrain. You're also using way too much power, causing excess damage to the end of the boat ramp.

Included screws are too short

Makes loading and unloading the boat onto the trailer much easier. Like many other people have mentioned, the screws provided were too short so I ordered the suggested 1 inch stainless screws. Worked perfectly!

Better than carpet bunkers

They are much easier to use than carpet bunker boards. Use care loading and unloading until you see the difference. These are for a board turned on it’s side (1.5”)There are other wider options for one turned flat

Really works!

I have a floating boat lift that tilts similar to a boat trailer. The previous owner had put pvc board on the wood bunks. The bunks were anything but slick. I was pushing the boat off of the lift for a skiing day and something in my back tweaked. No skiing that day. I went to the house and ordered the bunk slicks. Now I have to make sure that I keep a rope tied to the boat. As soon as the lift drops to the right angle, the boat launches itself! A buddy of mine saw me launch the boat and is ordering these too.My boat is a 4000 pound ski/wake boat. I used two sets of bunk slicks.

Great product, easy to install.

I installed the slides on 2X6" pressure treated bunk boards that were sealed wth Olympic waterproof. This seems to be much less mess and easier to install than marine carpet The jet ski glides easily!

Quality product

I used these on my boat trailer bunk boards to replace the weathered carpet. My boat mechanic commented that he'd not seen this method before and was impressed. First, I bought 2x6 lumber at the local hardware store. Then I rolled Liquid Flex Seal over the entire surface of the lumber. The one that comes in a paint can, not the spray kind (https://www.amazon.com/Flex-Seal-Liquid-Large-Ounce/dp/B019PFO4KM/). After that dried I placed these Bunk Slicks with about 4" gap between them - they don't need to be touching each other. My boat slips on and off these things with ease! Also, I used 2.5" carriage bolts to secure the sealed lumber to the trailer and these slicks are thick enough to be higher than the bolt heads, in case you are wondering. Solid product; I will never go back to carpet!

These things suck!

Tie-Down please contact me. I’d like to return these and get my money back. Absolutely did not work on carpeted bunks. Actually made it more difficult to launch and retrieve.

Great product

Stainless screws provided easy to mount I put these on new 2X4 bunks on my pontoon trailer I didn’t use carpet so the boards will dry out spaced them about 3” apart so water and debris can’t lay on the wood these should last a good long time if there not abused I float my boat on and off the trailer no ram jamming under power I had to use 4 kits to get the coverage I wanted

AMAZING !

I read a lot of reviews on this product .. and most of them were excelent !I have a 19 foot aluminum boat with a heavy 150 motor and a 9.9 kicker..When the boat fuel tank is full. total weight is near 4700 lbs.I was amazed when I winched the boat back on the trailer.. EFFORTLESS !The boat glides like magic !Before I installed the slicks.. I had a tough time getting the boat tight in the front.. So much so that I broke two winches when trying too hard..All those years struggling to get the boat on the trailer !Those days are gone !*** Only problem... The screws that come with the slicks are much too short !I had to buy Screws 1 inch longer..I had the chance to call the customer service at Tie Down Engineering in Georgia. Such nice people ready to assist with any questions you might have !

Worked great.

They work great. Seems like a much better alternative over carpet on rotting wood.
