Q: Does this with macbook garage band?

I have a 2018 MacBook Pro. I plugged it in, loaded Garageband and was working instantly.

Q: Might be a dumb question but can this be connected via mid cable? All i see is usb port on picture

It does not have the old school 5 pin DIN midi ports but the USB port is USB midi and works the same as the 5 pins. Actually better because you don't need a midi interface and it uses one cable instead of 2. It can also power your midi controller via USB, assuming your midi device supports that. I was skeptical moving from. 5 pin midi to USB midi but now that I have I no longer use the 5 pin cables if possible.

Yes, it does work with FL studios. I've been using it when I travel and away from the studio. It has definitely helped my composing of awesome beats.

Very Simple. Just Plug & Play

I already have other Midi Keyboards. I purchased this one for Travel use. There are people who encountered a few problems with this Keyboard. But with the Price this is on AMAZON, it’s a very good deal. One can’t expect more in that amount of Money. It’s a good keyboard with decent keys and knobs. Especially the Pitch & Modulation knobs are not so Plastic, they are very good. Also, it’s very easy to use. Just plug into your laptop and it will automatically install the software for you. I am using FL, I just launched and it detected the Midi Keyboard instantly. If you are looking for a small work especially on the go types then this Keyboard will surely serve your purpose.
