Fits correctly and gets the truck back into 4wd like I need

Was very easy to replace this part.

I have a 2004 dodge ram, 5.9. My grommets had fallen apart, and recently the linkage slipped out after some rough forest roads. I bought this to fix that issue. I used the grommets, but nothing else. The original linkage is fairly longer in comparison. Rather than attempt to make sure the throw of the shifter worked, I only used the grommets. Maybe this shorter length would work, but I didn't want to attempt that route.

One wrench and ten minutes. In and done

Was easy to install and truck shifted perfectly.

Already installed myself and fixed the issue I was having. Only time will tell how well it lasts.

Had one of these replaced at a dealership, charged over $200 on my Ram and took over 2 hours. I am old and disabled and had it fixed in 10 minutes. Took longer to get up off the floor.

This is almost 3 inches too short for my 2004 Ram 3500 6 speed manual diesel just like the photos show in a previous post. I compared it to my brothers 2004 Ram with the auto transmission and Diesel engine and these parts matched perfectly.
