No drone, is not loud or metallic sounding, provides ample clearance and is aesthetically pleasing
The media could not be loaded. There is no high pitch drone it's a mellow sound. The product is made of quality material the welds and all provided is of quality material installation is very simple you will need some PB Blaster to spray on your factory Muffler clamp make sure you apply when the vehicle is cold saturate let it sit for about an hour and then start your vehicle to let it run for roughly 5 minutes to burn off any added rust and PB Blaster and then make sure you let it cool for an appropriate amount of time for you for working on your exhaust that being said it took me roughly 30 minutes to remove my muffler and install the new pipe... what I recommend is removing the passenger and driver side hangers and by that I mean undoing the bolts that Bolt the hangers to the frame and after that remove the muffler clamp that attaches the factory Muffler to your factory exhaust pipe I also recommend using a ratchet instead of a impact whereas you can apply a better force of torque without damaging or snapping the factory clamp..

Saves some weight, not loud!
Fairly simple install, just unbolt the muffler, brackets and hangers. Then you will have to loosen the pipe. You will have to wiggle it out quite a bit. It takes a little bit of time, just twisting the muffler to wiggle it out of the pipe, but it will come out. I did this on a stock Jeep Rubicon 4xE. After you get the muffler out, then you put the driver's side hanger. The new pipe, then wiggle it back on and bolt that hangar in. Once you have the pipe orientated where you want, then you tighten the pipe bolt. I have the 2L turbo engine, this pipe did not make this engine when it's running loud with the top off.I could still barely hear it. So if you are looking to make your exhaust louder significantly, you may have to straight pipe it. The two liter engine turbo doesn't seem to put out a lot of noise. But this will save you some weight, and you won't have a muffler. That'll smash on the rocks if you are off-roading.

Decent sound without the drone
Installation was very simple. Instructions are thorough and easy to follow. The construction of the piece is solid. I will update the review when it has been installed for a few months to see how it handles corrosive conditions. The 2.0 turbo sounds a little throatier with this tip. (muffler is completely removed/replaced by this part) Cold starts are definitely louder than with the muffler and it is substantially louder while accelerating, although not to the point of annoying. While running at constant speed, even on the freeway at 80 MPH with the roof off, there is no droning exhaust sound. It is a little more noticeable than stock but nothing to worry about. I did not want a loud exhaust and was afraid of the drone I've had in the past with a few vehicles. This one is a good addition for a little more robust sound and the added ground clearance in the rear is a bonus.

So happy to get rid of that stock exhaust.
Fit perfect. Hardest part was getting the stock exhaust unhooked from the rubber hanger. Sounds good. Worth the money.

Sounds TERRIBLE, do not buy
Don't even bother with this product. The sound it puts out is atrocious. If you do decide to give it a try, make sure you don't damage the muffler because you will be putting it back on. I contacted MBRP directly and basically asked if they would help me upgrade to something better and was told "if you don't like the sound, too bad". It will drone; sounds like trash at startup and you won't see any mpg or hp gain (I didn't expect to it but it would"be been a saving grace". Now I feel like I'm showing up to prom with the girl who nobody wanted to go with and riding a moped. Not cool.Update: attached a picture of what it looks like a month after being installed

Anchors Away!
Lose the 30 lb stock muffler and make your Jeep sound like a Jeep should!Easy installation and it sounds great on the 3.6L engine!!! - it went from nearly completely silent to sounding like a sports car exhaust.BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK OF ANY JEEP UPGRADE! And the Stainless Steel is going to last. The clamp that comes with it is also high quality stainless steel. Gas mileage? - who cares. I’m not saying it doesn’t matter but the sound of the exhaust makes driving safer and more fun. - LOUD PIPES SAVE LIVES!

Super simple and definitely sounds better!
Overall 15-20 mins with basic hand tools. Drop both of the exhaust hangers with 13mm and use the 15mm with some penetrating oil on the clamp and done. Wiggle the old muffler off and the new one slides right on. The provided clamp leaves 1-2 threads to fit on smoothly and adjust as needed, then snug down to 45ftlb. Also provided instructions with pictures was nice. Honestly I’ve sone 5-6 diesel and gas truck exhaust, maybe more and this had the best instructions by far. Yes it was one pipe, but still very detailed. Love the sound for the 2.0T and curious how the mpg and throttle improvement is.

Very loud
If I could return this, I would. This pipe went in very easy. Taking out the stock muffler was way more difficult. This pipe also came out very easily. And the stock muffler went back in easier than I thought it would. Drove it for a couple of days, just couldn’t get past the noise. It wasn’t even a nice sound. I’ve ridden my Harley with straight pipes, and that’s loud, but it sounds good . It has a good tone, tempo and a great beat. So the volume wasn’t really the worst of it. It just sounded bad. That being said, it did offer great clearance, and ease of install, but my Jeep is a daily driver and a weekend warrior. I can’t risk getting a ticket on my way to work every morning. Sorry, but I would not recommend this to any of my friends. If you want to buy it, I’ll give you a real good price.
